Who knows what ANYONE in the national media knows. However, there has been a consensus it seems.

Seemingly, Kentucky and North Carolina are out of the running.

This sucks...I really was "over" this whole thing. I was at a point for a while that I didn't really care where he chose. if it's KU, great.

Now I'm almost expecting him to be a Jayhawk; I'm going to take my lunch from 11-12, I'm going to watch the presser, and I will now be let down.

No. There is 1 media member present. @granttraylor on Twitter. He will be tweeting the announcement shortly after 12:15.

I have a feeling ESPNU, while they wont have a live feed, will have it on. That is, announce it as soon as Twitter does and talk about it. Either a HS Recruiting show or College BBall Live.

I do give the kid a lot of credit for not making the announcement itself an MTV production.

Harrison Barnes' announcement might as well have taken place on the season finale of America's Next Top Model. Lol.

Apparently, leaks are coming out that after the Randle commitment, the staff was not confident in landing Wiggins. I truly believe that just a few months ago, they felt it was a done deal.

Remember, Kansas was kind of a late player into the recruitment (as was UNC).

Remember when I said KU was barely a top 25 team. That was before I saw Embiid in the Jordan game and the Hoops Summit. Now Wiggins.

Puts KU probably preseason top 4 at this point. Louisville, Kentucky, Michigan State, Kansas. Duke, Arizona, Florida, North Carolina and Michigan somewhere in the top 10.

Going to be a hell of a season.

Was just talking about this. Ohio State up there as well. Can't wait for college basketball season.

Reports are out that Self made a late push and that sent KU over the edge for FSU. UK and UNC were along for the ride the last few months.

EXTREMELY happy he choose KU (or UNC). Really didnt want to see that kid at FSU and at UK it would have been boring basketball.
