All depends on their series vs. TB. Tigers will go 5-2 at least IMO the rest of the wayIronman92;1281212 wrote:Sox lose again.
Tigers will win the central by at least 3 games

Tigers win 5-4 in a game where the Royals commit 5 errors. Doug Fister also sets the AL record for consecutive strikeouts with 9 today

The 2 wild cards get the play-in game, right? It isn't the 2 worst records?
Question #2 - assuming neither falls apart the last 4 games and both gets in, who gets AL manager of the year? Buck or Bob Melvin?

Gotta be buck. Especially if they win the division.

Friggin A's keep winning these games. Can't believe they are going to make the playoffs over the Angels.

If they win the division I agree. Otherwise it's tough. AL West was a really good division this year.Crimson streak;1283469 wrote:Gotta be buck. Especially if they win the division.

I think the West is better this year. Texas and Anaheim are better than NY and TB. Boston and Toronto are bad and Seattle is bad. But then Oakland has to play more games out of the division...but since both teams have the same amount of good teams, it kind of back fires.Crimson streak;1283481 wrote:The east is damn good too lol. Michael Morse going back to home to touch em all and swinging the imaginary bat was pricelessly awesome.....even funnier he's the size of Adam Dunn.

Lol Dunns stats are weird as hell. 215k and 104 walks. 108 hits(41HR,19 Doubles) only 48 singles in 526 ABs. His WAR is only 1.1.

I also just saw a tweet from the reds that Ludwick is out of the starting line up with the reasoning of "wet field" lol

The wet grass helped Barry Larkin re-aggravate his groin injury at least 3 times.

Which is strange because he just recently single-handedly won a game for them.
WAR also has Michael Bourn as the 10th most important player in the game.

I'd agree with Bourn.

I love Michael Bourn and he's a great CF.....but he is nowhere near a top 10 player in terms of importance to winning.
WAR is way to giving to outfielders. Ben Zobrist always one of the upper echelon players...nah
