The Oakland A's are simply Amazing, yes I corny I know.
What a choke job by Texas. They went 2-7 down the stretch. A's went 8-1, and completed the sweep.

I highly doubt the Rangers can win that one game now, too much pressure.

Friend was at the game today and sent me a text saying Teddy won. It was long due as they have been playing it up for Teddy to win the past two weeks.
More importantly, the win today gives the Nats the best record in all of baseball. Who would have guessed that?
So, Game 1 of the potentially NLCS and WS could be here in DC.

I am really, really hoping for a Reds-Nats NLCS.

I'm sick of hearing how Tampa or Anaheim should be in the postseason instead of Detroit. It's not like they went 81-81, they'll probably finish 88-74 which is pretty good

Angels clearly played the much tougher schedule....but it doesn't matter.

Should be AL MVP.

O's lose, so the Yanks take the East.

So, the AL Wildcard is O's vs. Rangers.

I wouldn't be shocked if the O's won, given all the pressure is on the Rangers.

Pretty awesome that we got to witness history with Miguel Cabrera and the Triple Crown. Statistically, the rarest feat in baseball...Amazing.

Tigers won their division, Angels/Rays didn't.

/end of discussion.

If you want to be in the playoffs, WIN your division.

Those two teams didn't just not win their division, they also both finished third. A person can criticize the current divisional format, but as it is, there's no way to justify holding a divisional champion out to put a couple third-place teams in.

If anyone is surprised by this, they should post that they are here. So everyone with a brain can mock them for days.

Also, Brian McCann sucks.
