It is not very hard to find bad Christians. The actions of some clerics molesting children to condemning dead soldiers to hell is nauseating and deserves condemnation. Isolated to one area of the world stretching from Nigeria and Algeria to Indonesia and the Phillippines. And they are not killing each other, the killing is pretty much going one way with Christians as the victims.

I think if we examined Muslim countries we would find child molestation even more prevalent. They have this example Muhammed married Aisha at 7 and consumated the marriage when she was ten.

It's a tragedy. It's too bad we are giving them so much help. They take our aid money and buy the weapons to do this. And of course the fact that we are killing Muslims that haven't done anything to us has only exploded their recruiting. Maybe we will finally wise up and stay out of it so the Christians have a fair fight.

Correct me if I'm wrong but there are stonings and examples of genocide in the bible are there not?

Killing Al Queda, Taliban and Muslims who support them diminishes the number of people killing Christians. All these folks have demonstrated they will kill anyone religiously different from themselves. Given the majorities that Muslims have in almost all the countries mentioned without outside aid in some form it will never before a fair fight.

Yes there are, mainly in the Old Testament. But if we look at the example of the Christ, the founder of the religion, we have an example of someone not commiting genocide and telling those people stoning a "fallen woman" "If any one of you is without sin, let him be the first to throw a stone at her." to prevent her execution. The example of Muhammed from his life is to order assassinations, wars of conquest, ethnic cleansing and genocide. When Muslims participate in campaigns of terror they are following the example of their founder.

All Muslims have not demonstrated anything. The ones that we radicalized will kill anyone. That is less than 1% of Muslims worldwide. Yes, but they were very limited in their scope, were centuries before the teachings of Christ and his apostles, and were within the context of legal/criminal punishments of ancient Israel.

Regarding our military policy in the Middle East, I'll agree with Cleveland Buck that we do bizarre things sometimes. Take the 2010 example of Bibles donated to troops in Afghanistan. Our military took the action of burning a large donation of Bibles in Afghanistan to avoid offending the native population (Muslims) and to avoid making them feel like the US government was prosoletyzing or trying to convert Muslims. This would supposedly have put our troops in danger.

That same military went out of its way to condemn the burning of one Quran by one pastor in Florida because, you guessed it, it might upset Muslims and put our troops in danger.

Some always prefer to blame America. The blame is not with the US. Muslims have been exterminating Christians for millennia. Just take a look at the 20 th century. It began with Muslims exterminating 1.5 million Armenian Christians and ended the century with the killing of 2 million Christians and animists in Darfur and Southern Sudan.

Does anyone else find it a bit ironic that people are bringing up the teachings of Christ who was about as much of a pacifist that has ever existed and then the next sentence mentioning killing Muslims. You brush off the Old testament like it doesnt matter and say how we should all follow Jesus and talk about things that if Jesus were on Earth right now would preach against.

I am a Christian. I just find it a bit disturbing to name drop Christ and then do the exact opposite of what he taught.

Umm, your "both religions commit violence" argument came off the tracks a little with that statement. Isadore's point seems to be that Christian killing and violence is 1) more limited across the timeline of history, 2) not really a threat to our safety and security in America in 2012, and 3) is directly antithetical to the teachings and example of Christ, his apostles, and the early church.

The founding and founder of Islam, however, embraced the sword and warfare from the beginning, and violent Muslims today (while in the minority) can appeal to their founder and scriptures to justify their actions a whole lot more than Christians can appeal to theirs.

Ok? I wasn't arguing who kills more people today or throughout time. I was merely stating that there is Christians today that preach about their religion and then go out and kill in the name of it. I never said it was on as grand of a scale than what muslims are doing over in SE Asia and the Middle East. Also, I hardly believe those muslims in the ME and SE Asia are much of a threat to the United States. They seem to be killing people half a world away.

Anybody should be allowed to practice there faith without fear of prosecution and death . Dont worry everybody, there is enough hate and fear mongering to last forever . FOX news media will do just the opposite and cause much fear mongering on the Muslims . Just like the Jewish run main media will not put topics of anti christian sentiment in the muslim world on the main networks .. Funny thing isnt it . The ACLU which is Jewish protects the Muslims in many ways . Just like they would protect a Klan member .
The only thing I do want from the media is accurate accounts on all hot topics and to not be slanted for our own safety . That is where I have an issue with the far left . I dont need them or the ACLU to baby sit me .
