Doesn't give an explanation but says he was trying to catch a flight, doesn't seem remorseful.
Diaz is a douche!!

I won't go that far, he is different and needs to get some help or grow up a bit. I honestly don't think he thought it was a big deal to miss the presser.Fab1b;886973 wrote:Diaz is a douche!!

I never called him a disgusting human being, though his general attitude towards other people in general, his pride in his lack of intelligence and unwillingness to grow as a human being, and his disregard for responsibility are all things that certainly make him fit in the category.robj55;886930 wrote:Not defending what he did but how does that make one a disgusting human being, curious?
Again I'll ask, what redeeming quality as a person does Diaz have? Other than being a good fighter, I can't figure out how people can root for this guy. He's everything MMA fans should NOT want representing this sport.

How the hell would you know, do you hang out with him on a regular basis? A lot of people do shitty things, missing a press conference isn't that bad in the scheme of things. Everyone's golden boy Jon Jones did something way worse recently when he refused to sign a kid's replica championship belt claiming that he worked too hard to get his, there's some morals for you.2kool4skool;886999 wrote:I never called him a disgusting human being, though his general attitude towards other people in general, his pride in his lack of intelligence and unwillingness to grow as a human being, and his disregard for responsibility are all things that certainly make him fit in the category.

Why would I want to? When nearly every interview he comes across as a wanna-be thug, constantly posturing and carrying a poor attitude towards others, I tend to think that's the sort of person they are.robj55;887001 wrote:How the hell would you know, do you hang out with him on a regular basis?
lol, you're aware that was part of a comedy bit for a K-Swiss commercial right? SMH.robj55;887001 wrote:Everyone's golden boy Jon Jones did something way worse recently when he refused to sign a kid's replica championship belt claiming that he worked too hard to get his, there's some morals for you.

No it wasn't, i'll find a link. A thug huh? having a bad attitude and speaking your mind makes you a thug now, hmm. Typical stereo typical american.2kool4skool;887016 wrote:Why would I want to? Yeah, the initial report was found to be from a Q&A session for a commercial. Everyone felt dumb at the time for over reacting. I assumed there weren't any more of you left.

Diaz is most definitely a douche. Either he's a fucking idiot that didn't realize that not showing up to press conferences and other things you've contractually agreed upon is a big deal or he thinks he's so important that he shouldn't have to do them if he doesn't want to.

1. Diaz does act like he is a thug, I'm not saying he is a thug, but he acts the part. You know this, I know this, everyone who has ever seen his attitude knows this. This isn't an opinion.robj55;887001 wrote:How the hell would you know, do you hang out with him on a regular basis? 2. Jones' thing most definitely was a comedy bit for a commercial, I honestly laugh at the fact you thought it was serious.

I would just have given Diaz more of a chance to beat GSP than I give Condit.The_Crosby_Show;886660 wrote:Diaz being Diaz. He has serious anxiety problems.
Condit is a tougher opponent for GSP. He's a fantastic kickboxer and has a slick ground game.

I disagree. Both guys will taken down at will, that is for sure. They are pretty even with subs off their back but Condit is a stronger/better athelete who has a better chance of getting up. The more times he gets up the more chance he has of catching him on the feet. Also, he has alot more one strike power and a better variety of strikes. I see no way Diaz's volume striking approach would ever work on GSP, or any stronger wrestler for that matter.bigdaddy2003;887394 wrote:I would just have given Diaz more of a chance to beat GSP than I give Condit.

How do you figure? Condit just received his purple belt and Diaz is a black belt under Cesar Gracie since 2007, I guarantee Nick has a better guard and is better on the ground than Condit. As far as the stronger better athlete, not sure I agree there either. Nick does triathalons year round. Condit has more one punch power I would say but Nick is a way more accurate and busy striker.Zoltan;887513 wrote:I disagree. Both guys will taken down at will, that is for sure. Me too but it can still happen if he wins. I could have sworn that BJ said he would never fight a cesar gracie fighter but money talks. The winner here is the fans, these are two warriors.Hb31187;887989 wrote:Makes no sense at all. I wanna see him fight GSP if anybody
