I can understand why some people don't like his style, it's an acquired taste. I enjoy his technical brilliance and the fact that he is so well rounded and can make very good fighters look like amateurs.bigdaddy2003;884278 wrote:I generally like him.

Why the hate for BJ? He never seems to talk much smack other than the "I'm going to win" type stuff. And he's exciting as hell to watch.
Machida I have/had the same problem I do with Jones. People were all over his dick talking about how he wasn't going to lose for the next 4354 fights and shit. I don't like that sort of talk until they've won a few title defenses.

I just don't enjoy watching machida fight. His fight against Tito was boring until Tito almost caught him.

I like bj I just wish he put his all into it but nowhere near my dislike toward other fighters. My least favorite is bisping. I hate how he talks/fights. When he fights at home the judges are homers ie the hamill fight. Seeing hendo ko him was amazing.

"To the death Georges, TO THE DEATH!!" comes to mind. Which would have been bad on its' own, but coupling it with him quitting on his stool makes it certified douche material.I Wear Pants;884315 wrote:Why the hate for BJ? I respect BJ a lot because he will fight damn near anyone, fought Machida who weighed in like 25 pounds heavier.

There are a few guys that I don't like to watch because of their style, but I love watching the majority of all MMA fighters. There are some guys that I don't like their character or cheating( GSP and Melvin Guillard caught greasing in fights) but I still enjoy watching them.

BJ has more losses than some of the other top tier guys but the dude has fought everyone.

BJ is in a tough spot in his career right now, too slow for some lightweights and not big enough for some welterweights, love the Condit fight though that is dynamite.I Wear Pants;884612 wrote:29lbs heavier.

Serious question, was GSP caught cheating, or was one of his cornermen caught with left over grease on his hand while he was doing breathing techniques?robj55;884602 wrote:There are a few guys that I don't like to watch because of their style, but I love watching the majority of all MMA fighters. Lets not act like the man whiped the normal amounts of face gobs of grease for cuts onto GSP's chest or back/shoulder.

GSP's corner was cheating and it isn't the only time he was accused of greasing by fighters. GSP denies knowing but he is in such control of everything that he had to know.

Oh I agree that he should know/be in control of his corner, but even with everything that came out, it went down as an "honest mistake" by a corner man. You can choose to believe that or not believe that, but that is how it went down. That corner man was punished by the athletic commission.sportchampps;884834 wrote:GSP's corner was cheating and it isn't the only time he was accused of greasing by fighters. Besides BJP, who else has accused GSP?
The cornerman put grease on his face (perfectly legal), then without completely cleaning off his hands was going through a breathing technique on GSP's chest and back. GSP was then completely whiped down with a towel (by the ref) so he was actually dryer than you normally would be coming out of a round (normally sweaty and possible water/ice to cool down).
Did some stray grease get on his back? Most likely.
Was it intentional? Only the corner man knows for sure.
Did it affect the fight? Only an idiot would think so, if any grease at all got there it was such a small amount and not really "grease".

Per UFC on Facebook:
"Big guys, big fights - five rounds of Brock vs. Reem set for Dec 30 at MGM Grand!"
Who ya got?
If Brock can take him down, then I say he has it. But if it turns into a boxing match, it is going to be a bad night for Lesnar!
