Love this fight and it should be great but putting all your eggs in one basket is risky, I don't like it.

I feel relieved after reading this.
Dana White:

"That's ridiculous," White said incredulously. "It's so far from the truth it's not even funny. The guy's been working up on a farm up in Canada all summer. He's 100-percent. His surgery went great, he's 100-percent, he's getting back into training in the next couple of weeks."

From everything I have read, it is highly likely that the Pablo Garza fight with Dustin Poirier will be on the main card and then they will fit in any of the prelims that they can based on the amount of time left.

Thoughts?

I personally would put Jones 3 ahead of Aldo and move Edgar down to maybe 7.
I am of the opposite belief, I might have Aldo in the top 2 and have either GSP or Silva 3rd. Aldo is CRAZY good.

Jones doesn't have enough title defenses to move past Aldo/GSP/Silva yet in my opinion. His division is also the toughest/most stacked out of all of them so he will have more trouble defending his belt though.

I think Edgar should be between Cruz and Velasquez. Edgar has shown he can nearly clear out a division while Cain has yet to defend and probably will lose to Dos Santos (my opinion).

I don't like Brock not because I have a problem with him as an athlete or person (don't know enough about him to say he's a douche or not) but because I typically think his fans are to quote jmog, huge bags of douche.

You're the only one. :)

I said typically for a reason though, non of you guys in here seem douche-y at least in regard to your being a fan of Brock.

Haha. I understand why some people don't care for him but part of the reason I like him is because he seems so real. He doesn't sugar coat things. Kind of weird that I like Brock and Rampage but can't stand GSP who seems like one of the nicest guys out of the cage.

Brock seems like a hardworking guy and all that, I guess I just don't like the WWE crowd that associates him with MMA now. Again, no one in this thread seems to be one of those folks.

As for Rampage, I love him. He talks shit but does it because it's funny not because he's one of those people that need attention and are way too full of confidence (Koscheck, Sonnen, etc). Plus the dude was really nice when I bumped into him at a hotel.

I can honestly say that I enjoy watching all MMA fighters. I enjoy all styles and watching the chess matches of style vs style. Now there are of course fighters who I can't stand their attitudes or how they portray themselves.

There is a reason I watch every PPV every set of free fights have Showtime for Strikeforce etc. I like watching all types of MMA fighters.

Personality wise I cant stand Koscheck, either Diaz brother, R. Evans, and Lesnar. Thats about it really I like like everyone else.

Now I actually truly enjoy watching each of those fighters fight especially Nick Diaz.
