I think Elise is going home...she seemed unlikable last night.
I think Sanchez is in trouble...she seems shaken and unsure. Maybe a maturity issue...the pressure is cracking her.
Phil Phillips established himself as the new favorite to win.
What was Elise doing singing "Let's Get It On"? That song did nothing for her and since it was Sould Train inspired songs, she should have done somethign that has worked for her in the past like an Al Green song or something like.
Sanchez is a phenomenal talent and I think in a few years she is going to be huge. The problem a lot of the younger singers on the show have historically (she is only 16) is that while they can sing the song well, they are usually life experience (love, pain, angst, sorrow, heart break) that makes it believable for the audience.
I am starting to wonder if it is Skylar's to lose honestly. Yes, she is not the best technical singer on the show, but there are a lot of people who are just like her who speak with a twang, ride four wheelers, go deer hunting, drive their pick up through the mud--- who like her spunky little style. She is a Gretchen Wilson/Reba McIntire all rolled up into one.
