The judges are retarded. You have Steven Tyler who is pretty much high every show, j-lo who loves everyone, and randy Jackson the whitest black guy ever. He's tries way to hard to try and be black it's almost funny

I thought it was funny that Randy came out and made sure he told the people to vote for the best. I've been mad in the past when the show was turned into a popularity contest at points but I just don't really care for Jessica. I personally like Elise's voice better than Jessica's. She may not be better than Jessica but I don't think the average Idol viewer understands where Randy is coming from because I sure can't hear it that Jessica is the best. I wouldn't be listening to her on the radio or buying one of her cds. I'm much more likely to hear Skylar or Elise on the radio and much more likely to have their music on my mp3 player.

Randy was super butthurt last night about Jessica, that's for sure. I'm sure the average AI voter will love Grimace calling them out as idiots lol.

Bottom line, I'd pay a couple bucks for a few of Elise's songs. Jessica, not so much...even though she's probably the better "technical" singer.

I called it.... They'd use the save . And if you don't like the results then blame Steve Tyler, who practically guaranteed the results when he went out of his way to diss Hollie( two weeks in a row) who turned in a credible, but not spectacular performnance.
Mrs. Hits was so mad she voted 15 times for Hollie...not because she thinks Hollie is the best( or even her favorite), but because Steven was so blatantly absurd/manipulative with her critique. The judges need to give credible critiques...and then let the audience choose.

Last year (first year with the new judges) I used to get pissed at their critiques. My wife and I would guess what Simon would say. I swear I would break out into one of those Cowell rants about "Feeling like I was watching a show on a cruise ship" when Steven and/or Jennifer would comment it was a great performance that brought them to tears. I know some people didn't like Simon, but I think the fact he was not there to call them out led to overall weaker performances last season.

This year we are getting some of that back in the form of Jimmy. I think the producers recognized the need when after the first show this year there was not one single criticism levied on anyone.

I think all 7 left are pretty good. Elise is the only one that isn't very likable.

Hollie was great tonight.

Loved Skylar tonight. Amd spent the night hoping one of J. Lo's fun bags would fall out the bottom of her "shirt".

Colton and Skylar in the bottom three???

Anything can happen, but I would be very surprised. Again this show is all about voting blocks and demographics. Every little white trash girl and country music fan who watch the show and vote will support Skylar every week, and right now she will garner enough votes to be safe. Colton also has a large fanbase.

Bottom three: Hollie, Elise and someone suprising. However, it won't matter because either Elise or Hollie go home.

Are you watching the same show? Phil has been pretty arrogant like by saying he doesn't like to touch people's hands. Sorry you don't want to grace the fans with your almighty presence, Phil. Also, Colton and Skylar in the bottom 3? LOL what the heck are you tokin?.

Phillip Phillips is not great singer, by any means. Little range, not sharp hitting notes.

I enjoyed J Lo's outfit tonight.

The show has found itself in a predicament now. They are assuming that people aren't connecting with Jessica therefore they aren't voting for her when it could just be that a lot of the people voting just don't care for her or the songs she chooses.

Oh and Hollie kind of botched the lyrics of Son of a Preacher Man. She said "cousin Billy would take me walking" and the line is "that's when Billy would take me walking." The only reason I'm mentioning this is because the song is a love song. I'm not sure if she didn't understand that or what. It's not a big deal. Just struck me as weird that she said "cousin" instead of "that's." Wouldn't you assume they would have the lyrics provided to them or that they would look them up?

Colton Second song sucked
Elise She just no TV likable. You don't try to explain anything to the judges or the views anything
Joshua Great singer but getting a little old "screaming out big notes" not Idol Material .. Christian Music yes!

Elise is gone...

I figure Elise and Hollie in the bottom three and probably Joshua. Not because he deserves it, but as said earlier it's about voting blocs....and I figure there are more white, country and western fans watching the show than Christian gospel fans.

I think Elise is going home...she seemed unlikable last night.
I think Sanchez is in trouble...she seems shaken and unsure. Maybe a maturity issue...the pressure is cracking her.

Phil Phillips established himself as the new favorite to win.

What was Elise doing singing "Let's Get It On"? That song did nothing for her and since it was Sould Train inspired songs, she should have done somethign that has worked for her in the past like an Al Green song or something like.

Sanchez is a phenomenal talent and I think in a few years she is going to be huge. The problem a lot of the younger singers on the show have historically (she is only 16) is that while they can sing the song well, they are usually life experience (love, pain, angst, sorrow, heart break) that makes it believable for the audience.

I am starting to wonder if it is Skylar's to lose honestly. Yes, she is not the best technical singer on the show, but there are a lot of people who are just like her who speak with a twang, ride four wheelers, go deer hunting, drive their pick up through the mud--- who like her spunky little style. She is a Gretchen Wilson/Reba McIntire all rolled up into one.

Colton, Hollie and Elise in the bottom 3...with Colton going home.

The cuts get tough.
