Speaking of Dawson, Pete Prisco picked his 'All AFC North division team" and the Browns got Thomas, Mack (surprised he beat out Pouncey as Prisco was not only taking the deep throat but also massaging the boys on the Steelers/Rats junk), Haden, DQ Jackson & Cribbs (why I don't know) on the squad. Biggest snub, imo, was Mike Nugent over Phil Dawson.

It's ok. I'm sure Shurmur saw it and will use it as an excuse as to why Dawson will have 7 field goals per game. Nobody snubs Philly D!!!!!!BR1986FB;1258161 wrote:Speaking of Dawson, Pete Prisco picked his 'All AFC North division team" and the Browns got Thomas, Mack (surprised he beat out Pouncey as Prisco was not only taking the deep throat but also massaging the boys on the Steelers/Rats junk), Haden, DQ Jackson & Cribbs (why I don't know) on the squad. Sad, but possibly true. Now if the defense can hold opponents to <21 points we might be in business.Rotinaj;1258163 wrote:It's ok. I'm sure Shurmur saw it and will use it as an excuse as to why Dawson will have 7 field goals per game. Nobody snubs Philly D!!!!!!

If Trich stays healthy all year I can see him providing a lot of the receiving yards.Rotinaj;1258153 wrote:I don't see Weeden throwing for 3200 without a 1000 yard receiver. What kind of break down do you guys have for who's gonna catch the balls? Yardage wise per guy that is.
Also I set the bar at 3.2 K, because if McCoy could get 2.7k without playing a full season, I figured Weeden should have at least 3.2k
Dawson always gets overlooked with that shit. He has been one of the most consistent kickers the past 10 years. It is still beyond me how he didn't make the pro bowl the Browns' last playoff season.BR1986FB;1258161 wrote:Speaking of Dawson, Pete Prisco picked his 'All AFC North division team" and the Browns got Thomas, Mack (surprised he beat out Pouncey as Prisco was not only taking the deep throat but also massaging the boys on the Steelers/Rats junk), Haden, DQ Jackson & Cribbs (why I don't know) on the squad. I pick him every year in fantasy football. He's always consistent and well the browns offense sucks.
On another note I really want clowney from s. Carolina. Dude is a beast, but unless we're picking number 1 in 2014 we have no chance

Just got back from the game
1. I would like to thank all the season ticket holders in my section who sold their tickets to Bears fans.........fuckers
2. Seen a few people with Richardson and Cribbs jersey's but seen A LOT of Hillis, McCoy, Robiskie and Quinn jersey's. I did not see any other people with a Dawson jersey like I was wearing.
3. I was really trying to keep an eye on Evan Moore since I think he is on the bubble. He had trouble getting off the line to run his routes and his attempts at blocking were hilarious.
4. I also noticed that in McCoy's limited play, he would give a look at a receiver, set, go into his cadence and then throw to that recieiver. If I could pick up on it I am sure the opponents will also.
5. Also thought that the replacement refs missed a lot of blatant horse collar, head lock holding calls, mostly on the Browns.

Glad to see JMJ got injured, smh. Starting to get down on this team, I need to break out of the negativity.

Was McCoy really that bad last night or was he a man playing like he was HOPING to get cut? With the way he had played in previous preseason games I was honestly expecting him to go out and light up the Bears defense. He looked like crap.
Glad to see that JMJ is ok.
Will be interesting to see if the Bears keep Clutts as I could see the Browns grabbing him. I made a comment last year on how pissed they were when the Bears grabbed him off waivers.

BTW...Chris Tabor (special teams coach) needs to find a new occupation. Blocked punts allowed in back-to-back weeks is unacceptable!!!

no I am not from Chicago. The "Thanks to season ticket holders in my section who sold all their tickets to Bears fans" was sarcasm. I just didn't expect to see the section I normally sit to be filled with Bears jerseysSportsAndLady;1258557 wrote:You from Chicago, Miyagi? I wonder if they will try and put Josh Cooper on the practice squad for when Mo-Mass inevitably gets another concussion, or Benjamin pulls a hammy or something.
I kind of wish they would cut Marecic and just move on solely with Smelly. We don't need 2 fullbacks, and Marecic just doesn't bring much to the table.

I wish they'd cut Marecic, keep Smelley and add Tyler Clutts if the Bears dump him.IggyPride00;1258779 wrote:I wonder if they will try and put Josh Cooper on the practice squad for when Mo-Mass inevitably gets another concussion, or Benjamin pulls a hammy or something.

Grossi was reporting on the Really Big Show today apparently that he is hearing T-Rich might not be ready to start the season.
Considering we have won only 1 opener in 13 since coming back, that does not bode well for the Eagles game as I don't see how we pull that out without him (hell, it is a stretch with him).

BTW...the Eagles cut some pretty solid players (WR, DE, OT/G) I could see Heckert looking at.
