Not really. The family has already established a history of this shit and now "lil bro" gets in on the whining?

There's a saying that "even when someone says they're "just joking" that there's some truth (in their opinion) of what they are saying." McCoy's lil twat brother took a backhanded slap at the organization. Whether his brother was being attacked, or not, the "going downhill" comment had no place in the dialogue.

This all happened after lil bro thought Colt had been traded. Decided to get in his cheapshot after the fact. Do we have this to look forward to, AGAIN, once McCoy really IS traded?

Faster they get McCoy out of here, the better. Go ride the pine somewhere else.

Don;t you and many others give cheapshots to the organization all the time? Talk shit on Holmgren, Shurmur, etc? Didnt you say the Browns will g0 1-15 this season after we missed out on RG3?

It's one thing for a FAN to scrutinize the organization. Completely another when the BROTHER of a QB, supposedly fighting for the starting job does it. Intelligence isn't your strong suit, is it? Last time I checked, Adam Schefter wasn't following MY tweets and reposting them for all to see.

Case McCoy doesn't work for the organization in any way. He opinion is just as irrelevant as yours or mine. The Browns don;t give a shit what Case McCoy thinks. You can't blame somebody for sticking up for his family.

You don't think intelligence is a strong suit for me? my feelings are hurt.

This might be difficult for you but think L-O-N-G and S-L-O-W-L-Y.

If "Average Joe" (i.e. myself, you, COA, S&L, etc) tweets "Mike Holmgren sucks! This organization is on a downhill slide" nobody gives a fuck. If the BROTHER of a Browns QB, who is likely given SOME information on the "inner workings" of the organization (by his brother in small talk, etc), says "the Browns are on a downhill slide" or are a "classless organization" it's a HUGE deal.

Just like "daddy to the rescue", McCoy's brother did him no favors with this shit. At this point it doesn't matter because he's a dead man walking in the league anyhow.

He isn't a deadman walking in the league. There are many who believe McCoy hasn't been given a fair chance.

Haha br hates the McCoy family soooo bad. Im with pick6 on this one, who gives a shit what case McCoy thinks or says? Certainly you can't hold colt McCoy accountable that's just absolutely retarded.

Besides, who really gets upset at "they're going downhill" lol it wasn't that bad of an insult to the organization, relax.

Yeah, because the Browns are getting SOOOO many offers of top end draft picks for him. They will be lucky to get a 7th for him. More likely he's cut. The more his family meddles, publicly, the more he's going to be looked at as bad news.

Where did I say he was worthy of a high pick? Put more words in my mouth please. Who cares if he is cut. He isn't a "deadman walking" as you put it. He will get another chance.

Also, intelligence might not be your strong suit. You said Case McCoy probably knows the "inner workings" of the organization. If that were true, why would he tweet about something he saw from a fake ESPN account? Shouldn't he already know what is going on in the organization lol

I don't thinks it's an insult but it doesn't help colt at all. I know the browns don't want to deal with the drama of their back up qb and his family members spouting off. He is expendable and his family is giving the browns more of a reason to trade him. I expect him to be traded very soon hopefully to green bay for jones

Pretty much this.

It's not a big deal...the only person it may be a big deal to, is Colt, because you can't have your family members saying dumb shit about the organization you play for. But he's the backup (possibly 3rd string) QB, so it's not like it's that big of a deal. He won't be playing.

I agree with all of that. Jones would be a great get for a guy who has no value according to BR. I don't know if I see it happening though, Jones has showed loyalty to the Packers by signing as a FA while giving up some money. I'd figure the Packers may show some loyalty back to him, but who knows, its the NFL.

Colt is lucky to be in the NFL much less a backup. Dude is just not good, not at all, and never will be.

Either way for some reason I think he ends up in gb. It would be good for him to back up Rodgers.

IF McCoy were traded for Jones you DO realize that the Browns would have to sweeten the deal, correct? GB isn't going to give a talented WR away for a player they will essentially be able to grab for free once McCoy is released. If McCoy had this "value" that you're assuming, someone would've traded for him by now.

By "inner workings", I'm sure that Colt talks to him about what's going on within the organization (from meetings, etc)....not that Case knows who will/won't be traded.

Exactly. He'll never be anything more than a spot starter when a QB goes down with an injury. He couldn't start for any NFL team except the Browns, prior to Weeden.

And as far as him getting dealt to GB goes, so what? He'll be in the same situation there as he would in Cleveland (bench warmer) except behind a much better QB so, again, barring injury, he'll never see the field.

So I guess for these teams that "see something in him", yeah...they see him as a career backup, like most smart people do.

Colt McCoy is the new Brady Quinn.

Popular college QB with a lame duck arm who will be a career back up.

I'm hoping Weeden isn't the next Colt McCoy.

A B12 QB with good stats but fails miserably in the NFL.

Let me correct myself in that the ONLY way McCoy will have value is if a starter goes down and a team realizes that they are stuck with a Graham Harrell as their starter. THEN the Browns might be able to get a 6th or 7th for him or perhaps trade him for a player. But that team will have to be in desparation mode. If it's a team with a bona fide (uninjured) starter, he has virtually no value. His stock only rises with an injury to another starter.

Weeden would be the next DA if he fails... His arm is too strong to be the next McCoy.

Weeden has a few things going for him (strong arm, quick release, an NFL QB physical build, etc) that McCoy doesn't so the deck isn't necessarily stacked against him.
