Really? I've heard nothing but glowing reports on Cameron from Shurmur's comments. Sounds like Cameron has added weight, etc.Commander of Awesome;1188892 wrote:Word out of camp on Cameron haven't been all that positive. I'm not that optimistic about him. According to insiders he's been inconsistent, dropping balls left and right, and still needs to improve blocking.BR1986FB;1188896 wrote:Really? I've heard nothing but glowing reports on Cameron from Shurmur's comments. Sounds like Cameron has added weight, etc.

Have heard they will use him more split out wide which is where he should be since he can't block.

I don't like relying on Moore, as he is oft injured and only plays 14 snaps a game. If he can stay healthy though, he's a huge asset. Big mismatch on Offense.

Which was why I was hoping they's mimic the Patriots with that 12 man package that Pat Kirwin is always talking about. Two TE's, with two WR's and Richardson will cause mismatches somewhere.Commander of Awesome;1188978 wrote:I don't like relying on Moore, as he is oft injured and only plays 14 snaps a game. 1 minute ago - by Marty Gitlin Coach Pat Shurmur on LG Jason Pinkston: "He's very focused and detailed about his preparation and he got in better shape than he was last year." Pinkston, who emerged as a viable starter in 2011, will probably keep the Browns from re-signing Eric Steinbach, who spent the year on IR and released in March for salary reasons. |

I dont really see any harm in resigning Steinbach, if for nothing else than depth and good locker room guy.

[h=1]Browns are healthy, deep at running back[/h]June, 5, 2012 Jun 5

By Jamison Hensley | ESPN.com BEREA, Ohio -- Last season, the Cleveland Browns were wondering some weeks whether they would have a running back healthy enough to last an entire game. Now, as the team begins its mandatory minicamp, there is a line waiting to get reps.
The Browns have depth in the backfield after drafting Trent Richardson in the first round and getting back Montario Hardesty and Brandon Jackson from injuries. The key is keeping those backups healthy.
Hardesty, who should be the primary backup to Richardson, has to prove he can stay on the field. His medical history includes a torn ACL in his left knee in 2010 and a torn right calf muscle last season. Jackson, who should find his niche as the third-down back, is back after missing all of last season with a toe injury.
Browns coach Pat Shurmur said Hardesty and Jackson haven't shown any residual effects from last year's injuries.
"I think they look good," Shurmur said Tuesday. "Knock on wood, I think that group is healthy and running around fast. You can see there is some carryover in learning from a year ago. Trent’s doing a good job of picking things up. They look fast. They’re getting their reps. And because the lines are a little bit longer, they look crisp in the reps that they’re in there for."
Shurmur said Richardson, Hardesty and Jackson will all play this season. "I’m not concerned with them getting their reps," he said.

Apparently, they are all members of OC as they keep talking about getting "reps."

QB's looking shaky. Weeden throws a pick 6 to Hagg but bounces back with a 25 yard strike to MoMass. McCoy missing horribly on short, dumpoffs to B-Jax and Alex Smith.

Been seeing Hagg's name a lot. Either the QBs are playing like shit, or Hagg is looking good this early in the off season.BR1986FB;1189174 wrote:QB's looking shaky. Hagg looked solid at the end of last season. I had heard he could be one of those late round "keepers." Heckert needs to find more of those.like_that;1189177 wrote:Been seeing Hagg's name a lot. Either the QBs are playing like shit, or Hagg is looking good this early in the off season.

Indeed he does. That's how you fast track a team to being competitive.BR1986FB;1189182 wrote:Hagg looked solid at the end of last season. I had heard he could be one of those late round "keepers." Heckert needs to find more of those.

He must have a mental block. He might as well just go for it.BR1986FB;1189206 wrote:Damn McCoy is throwing nothing but short, checkdowns. Hasn't tried a long ball, at all.

Is Weeden's teammate from OSU doing anything at WR?

Andre Johnson, hands down, not even close.
