TRich did the same thing not to long ago as well.

Pretty interesting as you see some schools don't allow non-students of said school attend, over a certain age, etc.

Observations from morning practice. Sorry it's Grossi but it's the only one I've found so far...

All I know for sure is that Weedon will put up stronger numbers than Joe Schmo Flacco. I also think McCoy needs to stay as the back up. How many teams see there starter go down?

I was listening to ESPN radio for most of the day yesterday working on my truck, and John Clayton on his show was raving about things he had heard about Weeden from rookie camp thus far.

It means nothing when you aren't wearing pads, but he said he has been hearing some unbelievable feedback about Weeden and what he is doing already throwing the football at camp.

I hope I am one of them. Doesn't mean that in the 1st round where he was taken wasnt a terrible pick when you could have got him in the 2nd.

lol so if he turns out to be great, you are still going to bitch that he was taken in the first? smfh. the chiefs were interested in him hardcore. so what makes you think he would have fell to the second round? you have no idea.

And when was the last time we heard this about a Browns QB whether in pads or not? I think the local media is just giddy because they finally get to see what an NFL arm looks like.

Is it just me or does Weeden look like he could be Randy Lerner's son?

I'd hope he looks ok.. I mean he is 29... should be the prime of his career.

actually, all the media was drooling over Colt's preseason for some reason. I literally could give a shit less about all this mini camp stuff.....show me what you can do against the Steelers, Ravens and Bengals when it matters. We have sucked for so long that I am immune to the preseason hype.

He looked solid in the 2011 preseason. Looked like crap in training camp from what I heard. Weeden will be fine.

I am not a Weeden hater, I was calling for them to try and do what they had to to get him.

I think alot of fans are going to be wondering what they were thinking that they thought colt could be the guy this year once they see Weeden.

Agreed, media is always high on the QB early in TC/pre season.

Perhaps the local/mainstream media but I can't remember the OBR guys being very high on many QB's the last few years.

yeah, i was referring to the KNR guys and beat reporters.

I get the hype with the QB position, but I am just so frustrated with the organization that I am in a "wait and see" mode.

This is true, they've historically been down on McCoy and I remember them being all over Quinn and his lack of accuracy. Always thought that was odd as I recall that was one of his "main" attributes coming out of ND. What the hell happened?
