I'm pretty sure they said he plays RT but he is also versatile and can play anywhere if needed. But has good size...haven't really heard a lot about him, but I guess this is their guy. I thought the pick was gonna be Randle or Hill, but maybe they trade back in the 2nd and get one of those two if they're still there. Do you think the Rams would take another wr in this round since they have 3 picks this round? I think they may be targeting Marvin Jones from Cal in the late 2nd -3rd round too, maybe that's their wr? Not as big as Hill or Randle, but faster than Randle. And they would probably add another tomorrow.

My bad BR haha I didn't see you post that about Jones. But I really do think he's a serious consideration for next round...if he's there anyway

And there goes the guy I would have liked the Browns to take.

Schwartz started 51 straight games for Cal. 35 at LT and 16 at RT

I hope the Cowboys can get him in the 3rd round. I really think he might fall that far.BR1986FB;1155423 wrote:Notice still no Mike Adams...

So far, I'm very pleased.
The fact that guys like Cordy Glenn, Jonathan Martin, Mike Adams, etc kept falling says something for Heckert's thoughts on Schwartz. He locks into a guy and goes after them.
O-Line should be in decent shape along with a very good running back (should they choose to run) and a QB who can sling the ball around. Really need that stretch the field WR though. I'm thinking it will be Jones.

Good post from RCF
I came in here expecting to see positive reaction to the fact that the Browns just fulfilled a very important need with a low risk player who should jump in and start right away.
Boy, was I disappointed. What a bunch of pussies and whiners in here. Enough with the "this guy was a reach," "he'd have been available with ___" pick. Guess what...you don't know that and the Browns probably do.
Judge a front office's draft performance based on whether they (a) find a way to get the right guys for the team and (b) the guys perform. Then you can judge the stategy, eye for talent and ability to develop players.
Judging a front office based on where Kiper and these guys "value" them and tell you where they should be picked is beyond retarded.

Heckert has a history with Cal players. Got Desean Jackson there. Now Schwartz. Maybe he goes after Jones as he's a WCO player.hoops23;1155450 wrote:I actually agree.

Randle the only WR left that I wanted today. Can't comment on the WR from Cal. Have never seen him.
