Serious question, just answer a or b:

Would you rather have..

a) Richardson, Weeden, Schwartz

b) Blackmon, DeCastro, Pead

lol Spin your wheels some more and tell me which skill positions I'm allowed to have an opinion on.

A not close. We got a better player at 3 and 37.

a, but that's because I'm lukewarm on Blackmon and Pead.

I'm allowed to say that because they're skill players.

A.

I like DeCastro... Not a fan of Blackmon.

I loved Trent and that's who I wanted. I'm growing on Weeden and am willing to give him a chance. His interviews have been solid so far.

Schwartz was just a solid pick.

So you hate Weeden, but yet think that highly of Pead? I'm not sure how that works, but whatever (I mean that in a neither of them are sure things sorta way)

hoops23;1155516 wrote:So the team hasn't improved ANY since they took over? The talent was stripped bare and it's been a complete rebuild. I really like our last few drafts. They focused on defense and are now focusing on offense.

You guys are talking about reaching on a RT/OG but are bitching that we didn't take a couple of WR's who SEVERAL teams passed on because you THINK they could be #1 targets?

They'll have a decent rookie season and you'll be ready to move on to the next one. It's apparent by how you guys act towards Little.
According to record, the team has regressed.

Look, I've liked how these guys have drafted the past few years. I dont like them being putting off getting WRs, though. They have had chances to get Jones, Blackmon, and Floyd the past 2 years. I think Little has potential, but you need somebody else who can make a difference.

No reason to bitch at people for not agreeing with you. That's what this forum is for...opinions. Don't make other people out as stupid just because they don't agree with somebody who hasn't even proven themselves yet.

Richardson, Weeden, Schwartz. More important to have a QB than WR

Never said you can't have an opinion on skill players. But your bitching about a reach on an o lineman that you have no clue about against other o lineman you have no clue about. So quit bitching a be happy there improving the offense

For B, you forgot to add franchise QB most likely in 2013 as well.

Where did I bitch at you? You're bitching at me for giving my opinion on the situation. I also never called anyone stupid.

Your post was full of hypocrisy

Dang...Rueben Randle must have an injury issue or something. They need a WR but damn...if Lavonte David is there at 67 I'd be tempted to pull the trigger on him,

How do you know? lol...

That's the thing, you make these predictions like it's so easy to get that pick to give us a franchise QB... It's not that easy. And what if a lot of us don't want to suck anymore? I think these moves, IF Weeden pans out, makes us a pretty good team. Obviously our schedule is tough, but the NFL is a year-to-year league. There will be teams better than you thought and teams worse than you though.. It's always been that way...

I would love to see us go 7-9 or 8-8 for once. If the offense can improve, we have a shot.

Agree. I dont know how much the offense can improve without a go to guy, though (Weeden always had one at Ok St).

They don't need a true #1, just guys that can separate and catch the ball.

The only thing I was "bitching" about was someone going to pat the Browns on the back for making a great pick without seeing them peform, and then getting pissy about other people not liking the pick because you can't make that judgment until you see them perform.

It's very similar to you being able to tell me they're improving the offense when talking about "an o lineman that you have no clue about", but me not being able to disagree because I "have no clue about" that o lineman.

Also, what I said about the pick was that it "certainly could have been worse" and that, even though I liked other guys at the position more, it filled a position of need and at least they didn't shit that pick away.

But thanks again for telling me what I do and don't have a clue about. You're doing a good job of digging yourself out of that hole.

I'm willing to bet plenty of people are sick of reading this back and forth though, so feel free to PM me any more advice on what I can comment on.

And nobody the Browns have now have proven to be able to do that.
