LOL that dude is a fucking moron... If the Cowboys actually drafted who he said they would with both their picks I'd be pissed. I mean I like Poe but not a 14 and if they did take him they don't fucking need to take a NT in the 2nd round and then a DE in the 3rd there is no way in my mind Dallas doesn't select some kind of DB with the first 3 picks.Commander of Awesome;1125174 wrote:http://football.realgm.com/src_feature/435/20120321/nfl_mock_draft_spring_equinox_edition/

After what Blackmon supposedly said I'm really not interested in him but the "sting" of coming to Cleveland might wear off for him if his college QB joins him. I'd have no problem with that. Like the Pead pick but the Mike Adams selection is the one that bothers me.Iliketurtles;1125198 wrote:Also maybe its just me but I think getting Blackmon and Weeden would be pretty nice.

Weeden at #22, Mike Adams can fuck off. Pead is fine, and I would be fine with blackmon.
@ BR, I don't give two shits about blackmon wanting to play here or not. And I'm certaintly not going to try and make it better for lil blackmon by drafting his QB.

That's cool. Then take neither. We saw enough of Braylon Fuckface's "diva act" when he was here. Now, it periodically pops up with Josh Cribbs' whining but nowhere near as bad.Commander of Awesome;1125217 wrote:@ BR, I don't give two shits about blackmon wanting to play here or not. Some tweets regarding your #4 pick in the draft...
Greg Cosell ‏ @ gregcosell Tannehill better prospect than Ponder. NIce feel in pocket. Good pocket mobility re: lack of experience. Willing to make stick throws.
Greg Cosell ‏ @ gregcosell Tannehill needs work with progession reading but can be coached. Must learn to validate safeties after snap. Threw well outside the numbers.
Greg Cosell ‏ @ gregcosell Tannehill threw w/anticipation. NFL throws: Outs, seams, hooks. Poised w/downfield focus. May have best pocket command + mobility in class.
Greg Cosell ‏ @ gregcosell Questions re: pocket command. Here's how I see it: Ability to stay on balance in collapsing pocket + maintain downfield focus.
Greg Cosell ‏ @ gregcosell Pocket command also involves ability to move within pocket, area about size of boxing ring, in response to pressure, also keeping focus,
Greg Cosell ‏ @ gregcosell Pocket command far more important attribute for consistent success than runnig out of pocket. NFL QB a pocket game. Must master pocket first

If we pick Tannehill at #4, we better have a plan to get Peyton Manning or Drew Brees.

[h=3]Options for Cleveland at No. 4[/h]
The Cleveland Browns' first first-round pick at No. 4 overall is where some observers believe the NFL Draft will really start to get interesting. It's nearly a 100 percent certainty that picks No. 1 and 2 will be invested in Andrew Luck and Robert Griffin III (in some order), and the prevailing consensus is that the Minnesota Vikings will nab USC OT Matt Kalil at No. 3. But with a slew of needs and a demonstrated willingness to trade down, the Browns are a tough egg to crack, as is apparent when noting all the different players shipped to them recent in mock drafts.
Mary Kay Cabot of the Cleveland Plain Dealer checked in on the situation with a post on Sunday morning, noting that a number of ideas are still in play: WR Justin Blackmon (the choice for a majority of draftniks), RB Trent Richardson (another popular idea), QB Ryan Tannehill and CB Morris Claiborne. Cabot writes that it's even possible that the team could trade down from their top pick for a second-straight season if the right offer comes along:
"If Blackmon, Richardson, Tannehill and Claiborne are there at No. 4, teams will undoubtedly call the Browns. At the combine, Atlanta Falcons GM Thom Dimitroff -- who views picks as currency -- predicted that some team will hear the same siren call for Blackmon that he heard last year for Julio Jones and pay a king's ransom."
There's a risk in trading down too far, as the Browns may miss out on being able to select one of their other top targets. But if a team like Miami -- whose desire for QB help has been well-documented this offseason -- offers them a nice package of picks in addition to swapping No. 4 for No. 8, it's a move that could make both immediate and long-term sense.

I just don't see where they'd have a partner that a) would want to trade up and b) wouldn't be too far of a trade down.Commander of Awesome;1127100 wrote:Sign me up for another draft day trade pwn.

NFL.com - The Eagles will try to trade Asante Samuel before next month's NFL Draft, according to the Philadelphia Inquirer.
Samuel, 31, is set to make $8.4 million in base salary next season with a salary cap hit of $9.5 million as part of the contract he signed in 2008.
Philadelphia general manager Howie Roseman said in February that the team will listen to teams interested in a Samuel deal, and the team admitted it tried to deal the cornerback last offseason.

Samuel would be a pretty decent cap hit to the Browns but the fact that they (Eagles) signed him in FA shows that Heckert isn't afraid to throw around money, in some cases.

Probably. I hear people say "we're in the sweet spot if Miami wants Tannehill" but after thinking about it, if the Fins wanted Tannehill, they'd just leapfrog the Browns and swap with the Vikes, thinking the Browns would grab Tannehill. Otherwise you just take your chance & let Tannehill fall to 8. The Cowboys (Claiborne) could be another possibility but do they want to drop all the way down to 14?dazedconfused;1127108 wrote:jacksonville to get ahead of stl for blackmon? that would be the only one i could think of
