Levi Brown OT for the Cards is scheduled to be released. He seems to fit the mold that Heckert looks for when signing FAs.

Sounds like there could be as many as five teams interested in trading up to #4. Two need a WR while the other three are seeking a CB.

Sounds like a typical Browns plan.

Surprisingly, the Texans have released RT Eric Winston...only 28 years old and has started every game since 2007

If the Browns trade down with Dallas I think it would be worth it to try to get them to include Stephan McGee in the deal. He is most likely going to be next years Matt Flynn

Any link to these rumors? 5 teams, that would be great. Could turn into another trade rape with that many teams vying for the 4th pick.

Not a bad plan if they indeed plan on taking Tannehill and trying to build around him. Load up on some more picks... Heckert has done a nice job finding good players in rounds 2-4. Get it done, and SIGN WINSTON OR NICKS FOR THE LOVE.

Now that I've had time to calm down after the browns dropping the ball on griffin. I like the idea of trading down getting more picks. Not to far though. 10 15 range.

I would say don't trade down a whole lot further than 10 unless we get significant picks in return. The #4 pick is still and incredibly valuable pick in comparison to, say, number 18.

We agree on something. :D

That's why I've been harping on the "add a few key pieces via free agency." Yes, I'm cool with building through the draft but at the rate Heckert is going by the time this team is competitive our young studs (Haden, Taylor, Sheard, etc) may have their rookie contracts expire and may move on to other teams. For God sakes, I commented the other day on how Joe Thomas may be the ONLY player inducted into the HOF to NEVER play a playoff game.

Keep adding, Heckert but step it up a bit, please?

If they do, hopefully they can get a 2013 first rounder in case they need ammo to move up.

Winston would be a good start, and then a LBer that can play a lot better than Fujita. If those are the 2 players we get, then I will be happy. It sure would be a hell of a lot better than an Failsama Young signing.

I wouldn't trade down unless they get a first rounder. I don't want to see any of this kokinis/womangini bullshit.

Mario Williams or bust !!!!

Seriously, between Levi Brown, Winston, Gaither, Anthony Collins, etc I have to believe Heckert is going to land a RT in FA.

No joke! We'd have to get next year's first rounder at least. They would have to make it worth our while to move down enabling them to grab a better pick.

I still want them to trade down and get DeCastro. If they do and sign a RT in free agency they will easily have the best Oline in the NFL

That would be a badass line. Even if they had to leave Pinkston at LG.

Why the love for Tennehill? I don't get it. He was God awful last year against Texas and Oklahoma....the only 2 teams he faced that had something resembling a defense.

If you need to take a shot...go with Weedon or the dude who played at Houston. Anyone but this converted wide receiver. Please.
