First offer or when the Browns tried to come back with a counteroffer (to the Redskins first offer) and STL said "no...you had your chance?"

Sirius NFL mock draft. Would anyone have a major issue with this? I'd expect a 1st in 2013...

1. INDY- Luck
2. WAS- RG3
3. MIN- Kalil
4. MIA (trade from CLE for
#8 and 2nd round pick)- Tannehill
5. NE (trade from TB for both 1st's and a
2nd)- Coples
6. STL- Blackmon
7. JAX- Claiborne
8. CLE (from MIA)-
Richardson

No, other than the fact that we again missed on our most glaring need.

I mean he's supposed to be the next AP. Would any of you guys not want to AP in our backfield? Takes the pressure off colt, and we can get stephen hill with our second to stretch the field.

I love how they say we are going to get weapons to put in our offense....but then they are just going to rely on ROOKIE WR's to just have pro bowl seasons. Receiver is one the of the hardest transitions to make position-wise from college to NFL. We need some freaking veterans in here( and I mean a true veteran WR NOT Cribbs) to lead these young guys.

I don't mind Richardson being drafted at all.

I refuse to get caught up in the next "AP" stuff, simply because the direction of the league is that of a pass happy offense, refereed as such from qb's to receivers. If the Browns or anyone is going to be a run oriented team, they need to commit to it. They obviously haven't.

I like little and massoquoi. I know some people don't, but I see potential in both of them. Just didn't have anyone that could stretch the field with burner speed. You get someone like hill to just run straight, and we've got a decent reciever core. not to mention, norwood showed some flashes.

No problem at all with a 2013 1st rnd pick. You might be able to get more than that for allowing Miami to move up to 4. I would be surprised if NE would rate Coples higher than Claiborne.

He's been dominating the SEC for a couple years now. That usually translates to NFL star. I don't care what the league is doing, I care what the browns are doing. With the offense the way it is, we need playmakers like richardson to get the offense flowing.

True. It's unrealistic to believe that a rookie will come in and have an AJ Green-like rookie season. Usually it takes a few years for a WR to excel. That's why I'm expecting big(ger) things from Greg Little this year.

He's 9-7 as a starter. So I'd say he wins football games a little bit more than 50% of the time to this point.

I agree with Little, but I am done with MoMass......the man can't stay on the field, and when he is he doesn't do anything. Cribbs needs to be Special teams/4th Wr. I was just hoping we could've gotten one of the FA wr's like Garcon.

If H and H are so focused on building through the draft, then I don't see why we wouldn't trade down a few spots to acquire more draft picks....and you don't draft Richardson in the top 5.

My point is, at THIS point, having missed on the pass and catch part of the offense, we might as well run the fucker, so we probably agree for the most part.

So out of spite, the Browns would rather have #8 & #41 than #6, #33 & #39?

Agreed!

But the thing is, we still need a true #1 wr, and another Greg Little type player to have a solid wr group.

I just think this is the draft that we get playmakers on offense. Richardson, to me fits that description. So yes, I think we do agree.

I don't really know that the Rams would deal with the Browns now and I doubt at this point they would give up both 33 & 39.

I want a speedy game changer. Defenses don't have to respect the deep ball.

I'd like us to do the following:

trade down to 7-9 and draft Richardson. RB solid running back for years to come
with the 22nd pick draft Wright WR Speedy receiver that will make defenses respect the deep ball (If McCoy can throw that far)
With the first 2nd rounder draft Sanu WR or RT I'd be happy with either pick here, I like Sanu, but we have a need for a RT.
With the second 2nd rounder (from trading down) draft Burfict LB We need a player like this with attitude to match the Steelers and Ravens

Burfict may be available in the 3rd or 4th...no thanks on him now after he threw his coaches under the bus for his "poor senior season."

I think I'd rather have Hill at WR now over Wright unless Wright blazes at his Pro Day.

I saw today a story about burflict. He completely fucked his pro day too. Might not even get drafted now.

He ran his 40 slow as Hell at the Combine. Just see him as someone looking to get paid and then trouble once he gets a little $ in his pocket. I was high on him a few months ago but he's on a serious downward spiral. Want offense but would rather use the 37 on Zach Brown at OLB than throw away a pick on Burfict.
