Old Rider, please tell your brother not to give up coaching at Orrville cause i say he would be next in line for the Orrville job when it opens up. But i guess if the right job open up he has to whats best for him.

Wooster seems like a good fit....but if Indiana is interested....that might be tempting.

Why go to Wooster? At Smithville he wouldn't have to play Orrville, which I am sure would be tough on him.

Could not find the OCC thread...prolly buried. But I think this stuff deserves a post as it is the most important thing about a student athlete:
Three OCC football players named to the OHSFCA All Ohio Academic Team for 2011
Zach Bernhard, Ashland
Jake Wolfe Ashland
Mason Monheim Orrville
Congratulations to these young men.
As a side note from Smithville were Ian Steiner and Paul Kelbly
And as a point of interest Chagrin Falls landed 5 players! smarty pants!

I would NOT be surprised to see Brent come to Orrville....you need to have the people in charge working while the villagers are in arms....if he goes to Wooster...look out. He may not be looking for an assistant job though.

That name has been tossed around the coaches room I believe, but I think Besancon wants to be a head coach.Coach_08;1029968 wrote:^^ How about Brent Beascon very good offensive mind, look what he did with Rittman.
Hey Coach08...Have you heard or have any idea how our freshman basketball team is doing? Just thought you may know.

He would be a nice addition if Orrville would get him. The freshmen team is 2-2 with a game home tonight against Madison. A solid team but need to play better on defense, out of the 9 kids playing 2 of them have never played basketball. But they play hard, thats all you can ask for.

Yes, he would be nice to have. I threw that name out there to my brother about two months ago and he agreed.Coach_08;1030151 wrote:He would be a nice addition if Orrville would get him. He's not coming to Orrville and I can say that with some confidence.

Well we are about 8 months away (give or take a week or so) from the start of the 2012 football season.
Here is my New Years Resolution..
1. Find an O-Coordinator?
2. Field Turf?
..wishful thinking but I am keeping my fingers crossed!

I understand that field turf and a new track were discussed today in a meeting, I heard it would cost around a million. I heard they are looking for a lot of donations, of course at that price. I figure between Old Rider, Flash, RedRider1, OQB and even 1_ Beast that should get us close to the total!
