That a bank robber can benefit from the theft does not make it right!BRF;1017926 wrote:The whole town knew about it. It's hard to keep something like that a covert operation, and it wasn't intended to be secret. Why is it so hard to believe that the kids benefited from the moves? BTW, I had nothing to do with the decision.

Nevermind...........it's pointless. Your last post proves it.

Yes, congrats to Mason!!!! It is going to be tough rooting for just the Buckeyes only on Saturdays, as we now will be watching out for game info on Indiana, Nebraska, and Illinois .RedRider1;1018381 wrote:Congrats to Mason Monheim on his verbal to Illinois today.
Illinois is getting a good one.

I sat next to the Wenning family from Coldwater at the Kenton/Norwayne game, and their son is the QB at Ball State and were glad to hear about Stewart Turner going there so their son has someone taller than 5'8" to throw the ball to.

Old Rider,
Does that coach want to be a head coach?

Not sure. He has two younger children coming through the system that may result in his stepping away from coaching in the near future to be able to watch them compete as they get older. If he ever took a head job, I know one guy that would enjoy being on his staffMr. Russell;1018777 wrote:Old Rider,

I know that Chase has told coach Haley that things he learned while at Orrville are pretty much the same he is being taught at IU. I think the kids leaving Orrville at the LB position are a bit ahead of the curve and are prepared for the next level.OQB;1018801 wrote:I heard from my sources that Indiana called coach Haley to come coach for the Hoosiers....but declined.

Scroll down on that page and you will see the schools/offers etc...
I think he was holding out to see if the buckeyes were going to offer, but had it narrowed down to Illinois and Toledo. Tim Beckman who was the coach at Toledo got hired at Illinois.
