I wouldn't call it a load of shit since players are having meetings with him about his shenanigans. The bigger problem is that Shurmur is letting this shit go on though. This team sucks and now we have a disfunctional locker room...sigh

Like I said, I think the media is making it sound worse than it really is. When you have to use unnamed sources, you are either grasping for straws, or you are stirring the pot.

Best example of this is LeBron pre-decision.

Hope you are right. I did hear that one named source...joe thomas...said that Peyton seems like a different guy this year.

I'm putting the Hillis re-injury on the trainers and coaching staff.

When he first got hurt, they should have sat him down and made him stay there. Don't allow him to practice at full speed or do anything else until an MRI clearly shows he's healed.

Even casual fans know that hamstrings and high ankle sprains do nothing but linger when you keep trying to practice or play on them.

I don't give a damn about Hillis' contract or any other side issue; the team needs its top running backs healthy and you do what's necessary and SMART to get them back. That means, regardless of whatever pressures are going on inside the locker room or from the media, fans or whoever, you play it smart.

I do not believe that happened here, and that's on the organization.

Who is to say that his teammates calling an intervention didn't "motivate" him to come back sooner than thought/ready? I'd been hearing "very doubtful he plays against Houston" and then "BAM...Hillis practices and should be ready to go against Houston" and I'm like "WTF?"

Maybe it was on Hillis for trying to come back so he stopped letting down his teammates. I'm not being derogatory towards Hillis by saying this. It's admirable (yet dumb at the same time) that he tried.

This is what Cleveland media does! Hillis and the FO are probably reading this story and laughing at how off it is.

"one source says..." oh yeah, that sounds real credible. Why don't they print, "Hillis is planning to retire to take up competitive dancing" as long as you say a "source said it" it must be true...

I agree, but it would be nice for Holmgren and Heckert to put the media in their place and at least tell them to shut the fuck up.

Most of the quotes from that article were just taken from Michael Silver (Yahoo), not generated by the "Cleveland media". There's definitely credibility to some of it, but I also think it's being somewhat overblown.

I don't really get why people would be upset about him throwing footballs at the goal post before the game. That doesn't seem like something an injured hamstring would prevent you from doing.

yeah...one

I think they lose something like 27-10

PS, not sure who posted it or where I saw it, but the article on the browns being the most predictable offense in the league, was spot on.

The Browns are just fooling you idiots. Little do you know, Shurmur's plan was to be completely predictable until Week 9. He wanted to lead teams to believe all they do is dink and dunk passes. NOW is the time to use all his cards he has been hiding! These defenses will have no idea what hit them.

I recall last time you had a good feeling, the Browns lost. That might have been somebody else though.

Maybe Obendaya will have a chip on his shoulder vs his old team... I doubt it.

Think I might have predicted a win vs Oakland lol

I didn't have a good feeling about that game though; I felt like it was one of those games we should definitely lose but somehow win (last year, Saints).

38-5 Texans...Houston punter steps out of the back of the end zone giving the Browns 2 points.
