That's only partially true. Winning matters more to me, but it can be hard to win without facts on your side. I still find a way though.xKoToVxSyNdRoMe;1030062 wrote:Ever notice facts don't matter to sleeper? It's pretty much like arguing with an Ibex.

You're fine with hoke pulling the scholly for the 4* te but if it was a 5* highly touted recruit you'd be singing a different tune
Did I really have to spell that out for you?

Lulz. Trust me its worth a lot. Not for everyone, but for those that can handle it its worth probably 2 shits.

Heard alot of people say he hits like a linebacker, but has safety speed. Good pickup for the Bucks. Unfortunate for the pundits that hoped the sanctions would stifle OSU recruiting.Pick6;1030740 wrote:That the DB from Trotwood? I like him.

He has to work on his coverage skills but is a great hitter. This is good news for getting many talented Trotwood players in the future.

Maybe he can be a Mike Doss. Doss couldn't cover me, but was an All-American!!OneBuckeye;1031057 wrote:He has to work on his coverage skills but is a great hitter. This is good news for getting many talented Trotwood players in the future.

Im hearing some chatter on Zips boards that Meyer is targeting LB Brian Wagner(1st team all MAC) from Akron for his extra year of eligibility to hold up the LB corps for this season. Any truth?

Haven't heard anything, but I've been busy the last few days, and haven't had the chance to stay up with the Twitter world.Pick6;1031359 wrote:Im hearing some chatter on Zips boards that Meyer is targeting LB Brian Wagner(1st team all MAC) from Akron for his extra year of eligibility to hold up the LB corps for this season. I'm not sure I would waste a scholly on a one year guy.

unless you're holding it for someone else, or you're at the limit, you may as well--after all, it's only for one yearytownfootball;1031434 wrote:I'm not sure I would waste a scholly on a one year guy.

You're right I suppose, don't really want to do anything out of desperation or that has the "appearance" of desperation for obvious reasons.vball10set;1031460 wrote:unless you're holding it for someone else, or you're at the limit, you may as well--after all, it's only for one year

If he comes in at the graduate school level some programs within OSU waive the grad school tuition. I had a year of grad school paid for by OSU, so maybe he would have a set up like that.karen lotz;1031426 wrote:Why wouldn't they give him a scholarship?

I saw him play on 2 occasions; he definitely hits people hard.

yea, there is talk of him maybe going there as a preferred walk-on. The reason he wants to leave Akron is because he thinks he will have a better shot at the NFL at a better program.mella;1031598 wrote:If he comes in at the graduate school level some programs within OSU waive the grad school tuition. Is he going to just add depth or could he be a starter?

I mean..I think he could be a starter..especially over Klein. He was first team all MAC.. not very big, just a hard-nosed tough player that makes A LOT of tackles. I dont think he can be a NFL player, though.Tiger2003;1031823 wrote:Is he going to just add depth or could he be a starter?

I don't see Klein being allowed to play as poorly as long as he did for the previous regime. He couldnt tackle and was so slow. Meyer doesn't like slow guys. If he redshirts next year, we probably never see him again (he'll get passed up)
