Team rankings from rivals:

2002: 5
2003: 41
2004: 9
2005: 12
2006: 12 (Urban was 2nd)
2007: 15 (Urban was 1st)
2008: 4 (Urban was 3rd)
2009: 3 (Urban was 11th)
2010: 25 (Urban was 2nd)
2011: 11

It's obvious how much better Urban is and how people gave Tress more credit as a recruiter than he deserved. He was AWESOME at turning the lesser ranked players into stars, but it is much easier to win when you have better talent, which is what Urban brings to the table.
Reps.

Uhhh...yeah..no, good for you. I and nearly all Buckeye fans won't be giving two shits about the sanctions that come down, they'll hardly drop the fever pitch of what's happening in Columbus right now.

Even though I'm expecting nothing of significance, why am I not surprised Buckeye fans wouldn't care about sanctions?

I care and I would guess that most would care. At the same time though I don't think any new penalties are imposed.

I don't either. At least not anything that will matter.

I wasn't posting that hoping they they will get hammered. I posted because I saw that the sanctions were going to be announced. I'm happy that you won't give a shit though! Just try not to be so sensitive next time.

Because they will be insignificant, pimple on the ass kind of deals. Anything less than the hammer falling will disappoint those who aren't fans.

Not sensitive...very, very happy to close the door on this little debacle. Thanks though.

You're a little more reasonable and (albeit only slightly;)) more educated on the situation. When and if the hammer doesn't fall, shit's gonna get funny from a lot of sources.

From other Michigan boards, outside of a few hopefuls, most don't expect much more.

Let's be honest, UM fans act like the sanctions, in which they're still under probation for, never happened.

Made a new thread to discuss the penalties. This thread should be for recruting.

So it's OK for UM fans not to care about sanctions, but you act like OSU fans not caring is a bad thing?

I'd be willing to bet 75% of the UM fanbase couldn't care less about the probation the UM program is on right now, and I'm not saying that's right or wrong. Point is, fanbases are going to downplay their teams transgressions. Didn't expect you to get that worked up over it.
