Solution: recommend that your friends rent a great movie called "About Schmidt" with Jack Nicholson.

1) It is a good movie

2) There is a part about Nicholson's character being emasculated because his wife insists he sit on the throne while peeing.

If men weren't meant to pee standing up, (1) we wouldn't be able to, and (2) it would be worthless for our pants to have zipper/button flies. If I don't need to drop trou and get my clothes wrinkly particularly if I'm wearing a suit, I won't. It isn't that difficult to hit the target.

I can think or one exception, in homes that have powder rooms with poor sound control I would consider sitting down if at a party in order to keep the noise down. But in my home, no freaking way do I sit.

Standing up is the only way a man should piss.

I usually have long morning pisses. Ones where I lean against the wall and let it fucking rip right into the toilet bowl.


Anybody who pisses sitting down, probably follows it with a bubble bath.

Up unless, as before mentioned, I am in fear of a surprise number 2. Just thinking about sitting down while I pee makes me feel emasculated.

Another question to ask is does anyone stand when they wipe, or do the lean? I remember a dude at a church camp stood when wiping and he couldn't believe nobody else stood.

My 7 year old son was potty trained at 2 in the sumer on our 4 trees in the backyard! lol Our 2 year old son almost got it down, will have to wait until next summer!
