Umm other than a HoFer in Moss I dont see another WR putting the numbers up that Welker has. Also Brady was gone in 08 and Welker still had a great year. Stafford is also a 1st overall pick, so its not like CJ has a bum throwing to him. Both having a great years, but don't belittle the production that Welker has produced.

10-6 last year...this isn't Peyton at his ultimate prime. They lost to the god awful 4-12 Broncos last year......could've lost to the god awful Chiefs this year.

Can't answer cause you just don't know....but the Colts are likely 4-1 with Manning....Brees, Brady, Rivers and others possibly.

Peyton is great......but he's not the every year MVP of the last 10 years. MVP of the last 10 years....maybe, it's him or Brady.

Im not really arguing he should have won 10 straight MVPs lol. Thats a bit ridiculous. All I am saying is its pretty evident how valuable he is to the Colts, much more so now at 0-5 than ever before, even through his MVP years. I DO think he has been the most important player to any team over the last 10 years, but I dont think he should win all the MVPs. Still have to have the numbers. I think Colts go around 4-12 all the other years without him. Pats went 11-5 without Brady, I would think other teams would be close to that ratio. Thats all I am really saying.

Tim Tebow. Ultimate Warrior.

Pats did go 11-5 without Brady....and that QB led the lowly Chiefs to 10 wins last year.

That is kind of irrelevant to my post. Im not saying other QBs couldnt lead the Colts. But Colts didnt have other QBs. If Matt Cassell was the back-up and not Jim Sorgi its different. Although Peyton does do more and implement his own stuff that a back-up simply cant replicate.

Peyton isn't greater than we believe because his backups have not been stellar players. Peyton is great for all that he does....he'd be just as great if Casell was his backup.

We all know Tee Martin was better. Lol

But he wouldnt be as important to the team with a solid back-up.
