The National Lawyers Guild said it has obtained a court order that allows Occupy Wall Street protesters to return with tents to a New York City park.
The injunction prevents the city from enforcing park rules, which were published after the Occupy Wall Street protest began.
Those rules would bar protestors from bringing tents, tarps and sleeping bags into the park.

I saw that earlier. Absolutely ridiculous.

Fucking morons...
Police in Ohio arrest 7 Occupy protesters at bank

COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) -- Police in Ohio say they have arrested seven Occupy protesters for refusing to leave a bank.

Columbus police Sgt. Rich Weiner says the group on Tuesday took their protest and chanting into at least three banks, including a Fifth Third branch and a Huntington branch.

He said they were asked to leave by security, and those who refused were arrested on criminal trespassing charges.

The group is part of national movement that began in September in New York's Wall Street financial district against what protesters call corporate greed.

A phone message left with one of the organizers of the Columbus group was not immediately returned Tuesday.

haha, I have went by the Occupy Columbus Crowd a few times while going downtown. Usually a group of about 5-10 people. Obviously getting a lot accomplished.

This whole thing just needs to come to an end. Nothing is being accomplished other than skirmishes with the Police. They have spent all this time camping out when they should have been looking for jobs instead.

This Protest has turned into a joke. Time for Occupy Wall St to GTFO

Fair for everyone involved. Camping out at the park is ridiculous.
thats the issue they are having here in cleveland. although they seem to be half ass Occupiers....except for the guy accussed of raping a 14 year old in his tent.

No fuggin clue what you're talking about here. Which post are you referring to so I can tell you whether I feel the police did the right thing?

If it's just having protesters not camp out then that's not really something I object to.

Jesse Jackson is in Cincinnati protesting with the Occupy Cincinnati folks.

I've always said if you are confused on which side to stand on an issue, a good barometer would be to have the opposing view of Jesse Jackson.

"You are that voice that will not go away. It is not whether you occupy downtown or not. You occupy the conscience of a nation," Jackson said, according to the Cincinnati Enquirer. "You are America's unfinished business."

Glad to see he spoke with trying to rhyme everything.

The raided the park at 1am kicking everyone out. A lot of people didn't leave without being arrested, and I'm sure forced was used in those encounters which I was expected you to call police brutality.

Force as in what? If it's just cuffing them then who gives a shit?

But if they we like tazing people left and right I'd probably say that they could, you know, not do that.

I don't have a problem with police. I just think that a lot of times they think tasers and mace, etc are items that should be used anywhere and everywhere. I'd disagree with that. But if I'm in a park that has been deemed closed by the city and the cops tell me to leave I'll be doing just that because it's not an unreasonable request.

I think Seattle's mayor is approaching this well: http://mayormcginn.seattle.gov/statement-on-occupy-seattle-protest-march/

Manages to say that protesters have a right to not be pepper sprayed, etc if they aren't being violent but then makes it clear that the police are/should be there to protect them and the public. Not to keep them down or anything.

I'm thinking both sides need to chill just a bit.

I enjoyed the video. Though it's really easy to make this type of video. There were tons of them on the Tea Parties, Obama rallies, Republican rallies, you get the point.

Still well done though and funny and the particular people they showcased especially the women seem pretty stupid.

I am seeing a pattern here with a certain segment of our population. Many of whom feign to care about the environment. Are they just too lazy to clean up after themselves? Or do they just expect someone else to clean up for them?
