I wasn't sure how good Claymont was, but judging by the score tonight, Coshocton had their way. Looks like Dover should win and it probably won't be very close.

11:30 no way. Once Dover takes a 35 point lead they pound it out on the ground! JV running back puts on another great show!

I spent the night in Urichsville a few years ago .. my friend was helping out on a house his inlaw owned .. It was a very nice town .. clean . pretty town .. I went to the Moose caus Im a member and I had my Big Red hat on .. Everybody was real friendly .. Very nice club too ... Claymonts wrestling coach used to teach at Harding junior high back in the early 80's .. coach Tokanen .. That guy was mean real mean but i guess he turned out to be one of the best wrestling coaches around .. Dont know if he still coaches but I guess Ill pull for Claymont because I like the town ... Dover has a nice town too

Claymont's not as good as the first four weeks projected.Dover's good, but sometimes their fans tend to forget about that empty spot in their trophy case.I've saw some revitalization in the enthusiasm of the fans in the Twin-Cities.Just hope it stays that way.Dover will score 50 if they can, seems the football team gets the backlash from all the thumpings the Stangs dish out on the wrestling mats.No matter tho,Dover will win their conference, then get bounced in the second round. The Mustangs will be lucky to make the playoffs, and If they do will get bounced in the first round by you guessed it,The Tornadoes.Life goes on in Tuscarawas County.

You guys remind me of Oak Glen WVA They are the best wrestling program in the OVAC as a whole and the best in any class in WVA as a whole but there football team has always come second to the wrestling program.... Funny thing is a great wrestling program can translate on the grid .. Wrestlers make outstanding football players .. Id like to see your football program become what your wrestling program is ... BTW Oak Glen in WVA has been getting better in football these past 3 years and are ready. They are similar to your program .. You guys kind of mirror each other. Good luck Mustangs

The future of Claymont football looks bright, and that is fantastic. I would like nothing more than for Claymont's football program to improve. 55-0 scores benefit neither program. They were ranked #2 last week (on Joe Eitel, Region 11) behind Big Red and that is a huge accomplishment for the Mustangs.

Trophies are for last year. What counts about trophies is only if they represent a commitment from coaching staff and community toward a program that yields a winning team year after year after year(and in case you don't realize it, winning doesn't mean just a high W:L ratio). That commitment is what Dover has in it's trophy case! Snide comments do nothing to diminish that accomplishment.

Dover is not a large community but we field a large number of boys on our football team every year. And they are all our boys, developed through a responsible program that fosters the interest of the boys in the community to play football - they aren't garnered through open enrollment or people moving in to the district to play football for Dover.

Claymont's recent football past has been dismal at best - but that is only the past, it doesn't need to be the future. I was quite pleased to see the good start Claymont had this year though I think we all realized it wasn't meant to be a trophy year for you yet. Your charge now should be to have what we have so Claymont can have that same trophy in their trophy case!

1. Only when Steubenville is your bench mark can the twin cities be beautiful.

2. The only reason they liked you was because up until last year your team was doing what Claymont wishes they could do.

Well said, wish I could communicate like dat.

Dover just needs to improve each week. We can say they are rested for this one. D has stepped up from poor performance at Canfield, which wasn't that bad, just big plays and brain farts. We had a couple dropped passes and fumbles in prior games that could have saved me from those cardiac arrest ending to games. Dover please catch the ball and don't fumble!!.

You obviously don't have a clue about wrestling, especially OVAC wrestling. Although Oak Glen has a descent program, no one in their right mind would consider them the best in either the OVAC or the State of WV; Parkersburg South would have something to say about that on both accounts. They may be high up in their division, but not with respect to the OVAC as a whole.
