It did go back to the old format for a few minutes, but now the new format is back.

yeah i noticed that too. when i first would open the page it would be the new version. if i clicked on the "facebook" or home page button it would go back to the old format.

It seems like they broke a lot of stuff. I don't receive notifications at all anymore, via the website or my phone.

Also, another thing I noticed... my Chat keeps signing me back on even though I close it out everytime.
