A company like Facebook doesn't make changes just to make changes. They study what their users are doing, what they like and don't like, what what is happening in the social media world outside of Facebook. They then make changes to meet needs and to be innovative. People may not like the constant change, but most adjust in under a week and end up liking the changes in under a month. Facebook get's it right way more often than they get it wrong.
