200 strikeouts on the season!

Only the 2nd player in MLB history to accomplish this milestone.

A special kudos to Dusty Baker and Brook Jacoby....great work guys!

I don't typically take up for Dusty and Jacoby, but Stubbs is a professional. He has played baseball for a number of years. It is on Drew to make that adjustment and improve.

Congrats to Drew. Instead of leading the league in steals like you should be you have this accomplishment.

Hope he has some trade value and we see Heisey/Sappelt in center next year.

It's just his second full year...Dusty and Jacoby are historically horrible at helping players get out of funks. Stubbs getting 400 more plate appearances than Heisey is ridiculous.

Heisey's injury didn't help and nor did Dusty's insistence on using a 3 man LF platoon. I had said all season I wanted to see more ABs from Heisey.

Dunn's been close a few times. Think they even sat him a game or two in the last week one year so he didn't make it to 200.

Never thought Stubbs would be this kind of player while watching him in the Texas uniform.

He was a whiff machine in college (relatively speaking) and has been at every level of the minor leagues...

STubbs has always struck out..that is for sure.

He has regressed this year.

Ya know that STubbs has about the same HR/RBI totals as Heisey...and Heisey has more than double the AB's.

I'm kinda amazed no one on Pittsburgh's hit this. It seems they've struck out 10+ times a game every single game for the past 2-3 months.

If Grady Sizemore could stay healthy for a whole season he could approach this number.

Stubb's must have been taking lessons from Darby in the off season.
