Yeah but we're Red Wing Nation and in all honesty it's so much bigger than C-Bus that we can get whatever we want in all honesty. Also Columbus would get destroyed in that division out east, and I mean destroyed in the new realignment. Mtl, Ott, Tor, Bos, Buf, Det, Pit is what's being brought up and folks those are all playoff teams except Ottawa. Columbus would not compete in that division IMO, although the Central isn't much better as Chicago, Detroit and Nashville are some of the best teams in the west and guaranteed playoff teamsWriterbuckeye;912197 wrote:Wrong.
Detroit doesn't NEED to change anything and they'll continue to be a very successful franchise.
Columbus is further East than Detroit and is struggling financially. Giving the franchise a big break in travel can only help, and building some rivalries with teams like Pittsburgh will also help build attendance.
Columbus has far less in common with the western teams than Detroit. Detroit has a longer history established.
Columbus going East makes the most sense, by far. But, knowing how ****ed up the NHL can be, it won't surprise me in the least if they select Detroit. Stupid is as stupid does.
