Labrae is your season. Girard is a loss. The rest of your games are winnable, the only tough one i see is struthers just because its a rivalry game. but 8-2 might get you in. but you really really choked one up. sikora, zetts you need to quit thinking you Gods gift to high school football and take a realistic look at your weaknesses and make every effort to correct them. as coaches you are to put these kids in the position to execute plays, and yesterday you gave them little chance. its simple math guys...if they got 9 or 10 in the box and you only have 7 blockers your in trouble. sikora preached the reason why we ran every down against girard last year is because they kept two safeties in the game and we had more men in the box. well wouldnt the opposite also be true? reality check time fellas. good luck at labrae, do you have any heart? i guess we will see.
More often than not, the character of a team is defined the week after a loss. I point to the Salem game of last season. After losing that game the kids stepped up and won out. We need to repeat that this season. The seniors need to step up now and lead. To those of you who have put this team on a pedestal from the first day of summer calling it the greatest team in decades, I hope you have learned your lesson.
