Also i said many times no team in D5 can contend with ursuline not just this area, and alot of people will agree with me on that, showing pride for your school is one thing but making moronic statements like that?

Why is Ursuline even in this conversation? This is the Campbell Memorial at Brookfield thread. Who the hell cares about Ursuline. Campbell is not playing Ursuline on Friday. Brookfield is not playing Ursuline on Friday. Campbell is playing Brookfield on Friday. For crying out loud, let's focus on that game. If I were to check each of the Campbell Memorial game threads so far this season, I guarantee you Ursuline is being brought into the conversation. Can we stop that? We can talk about Ursuline vs. Campbell if and when they play each other. That's way off in the distance, if it even happens. Until then, Campbell vs. Brookfield is what it's all about. If anyone is really worried about Ursuline at this juncture then they should go watch them play down in Zanesville this week. Campbell at Brookfield. Campbell at Brookfield. Campbell at Brookfield.

And just to have his back, devil90 lives around 2 hours away, so the fact that he's had to miss the last 2 games doesn't mean he's not a true fan. That guys probably more of a fan than most due to the sacrifices he's made for years just to attend games.

Thanks Ghetto. I have not missed a game Since 94. I have my reasons why i didn't attend the last two games. And believe me. What I'm going through i would not wish appon my worst enemy. Second Ohio. You really want to put words in my mouth about how i give no respect to Brookfield. I respect them. I know there more then capable of winning any game they play. I have my reasons why i feel that they will beat Brookfield. I could not make the last two games very very serious personal reasons. But i have watch this team evolve. And i attended there 7 vs 7 passing scrimmage. they beat all the teams there! Teams came from all divisions. div 1 through div 6. Campbell chewed them all up. A few people didn't get to witness what i seen. some really didn't think Campbell's QB Reyes was the real deal. We got spoiled with a QB like Lester Hughes. But i knew for a fact that Reyes was a fantastic QB. I called it. And even some have stated he might just be the best QB that came out of Campbell since Smith and McKinney. I have a Brother that attends all there games. My brother has only Missed 3 games since 89. We talked after the game. I know what this team is capable of doing. Do i believe this team will beat Ursuline. Why not? Why cant they beat them. Cause they Don't have only 160 boys total in the school and win State after state? Campbell is going to shock the valley this year. they have what comes around only once in a while for a small school. Talent and both sides of the ball. and they have arguably the best Kick team in the valley. Ja'les is just one weaponed Campbell has only had to use so far. Thats why i get a kick out of some of you guys saying Campbell is one dimensional. Please keep thinking that. And as Ghetto says i do live just under two hours away. over two hours for most aways games. I get off work and make the drive to all the games until my problems came up. And to think that i would just not go to a game this year especially the way they are playing and the way they been dominating is crazy. I been waiting close to 20 years for a team like this. I think the world of hese kids. And i believe with all my heart this team got what it takes to go all the way. I feel that the only team that can beat Campbell is Campbell. Why there cocky and arrogant. That will be there down fall if it is not kept in check. This team can Go undefeated. The schedule is a cake walk other then Brookfield Girard and Struthers. those are the teams that will tell the tail. I hope that Campbell faces adversity soon. No team should go into the playoffs without being tested with adversity.

Yeah i know. I know who you are Wink Wink. i might make the game this weekend. If not i have to resort to the damn Internet again. Ghetto i think i told you why through text message why i have not made the last two games. So if i did you know that I'm going through a extremely tough time right now. But i hope to be at the first home game back. if not this week.

And Ohio I'm sorry if i came off like a Ass. I'm not trying to be. I guess i am sometimes to passionate about my home town team. I grew up with Red and Black Blood running through my veins. My whole Family especially my Father was passionate. My Father use to tell me story's of him getting off work from the Campbell works just in time to catch the game at Knapick Field. he was dedicated till his last day on earth.

Just wondering. Will I offend someone if we talk about the actual game? I deeply apologize in advance if I dont feel like talking about who is not giving who respect....along with actual players calling people out that they will put out of the game.....IF they are really who they say they are. Lets move forward.

So we have a team in Brookfield with a big line. They have a nice backfield, talented QB, a very tall wideout, experience....in other words not a team to take lightly at their field in a game like this nonetheless.

What about their Defense? Any thing to point out? Are their LB's good, Their defensive front, Db's?? Do they play a 50 defense, 3-4, 4-3? Do they blitz alot? I am making an observation strictly on what I have seen from one team. Not knowing what Brookfield has in terms of speed, I am sorry guys but that is a huge factor in todays game. What do the Warriors have to do to try and contain number 2.....since nobody else will see the ball Friday night ??

Pride, I will not be offended:rolleyes: I did not get a chance to ask Coach Sikora about the defense Brookfield uses. I already mentioned what he said about the Brookfield offense via my email to you. I plan on getting there early on Friday because I am taking a vacation day. Would you like me to save some seats? I assume sonnyblack may be coming with you.

They weill have a gameplan to try and contain #2 but its up to the players if they execute. Alot of the players play both ways for the warriors not completely sure if the QB plays d this year he did last year.

Love the new name. You Dig? The problem is even if they contain Hughes for the most part he is still going to get yards and more then likely a few tds. Many have tried last year and so far this year and failed. But just say they do contain Ja'les how do they contain Patton Rushton Shawndale Ray, Reyes. Reyes is a running QB that is most-effective trowing on the run. The kid is a natural and when he throws the ball its a thing of beauty. Are receivers are the best in many many years. Then you factor in this Campbell defense. They are big up front and for big boys they have speed and also wrap up there opponents. its just going to be very hard to stop all the phases of the devils offense and defense. This is a very good Brookfield team. They are playoff bound no doubt. They have the talent and size to compete with any team they face this year. They bring the toughness and hard hitting capability's that most teams only witness every so often. This Brookfield team is got a back that is a beast and will not go down easily. he has the speed burst to get through the first wave of defenders. but he does not have the breakaway speed that more then likely will be needed for the big play. Campbell has had a few plays where there runner got through the fist few hits. But the second line of defense for Campbell has always shut down the runner. Its going to be very interesting to see how both teams respond. Campbell will need to hit hard to bring down the Running back and also will need to get to the QB before he has time to pick away at the CB's. Brookfield will have to not only stop Ja'les but will have to stop the other backs that more then likely line up with Ja'les in te backfield. they will have to figure out how to stop a extremely accurate QB that can run and is as fast as the Campbell backs. Cant wait. this is going to be a battle and a very good gauge point for both teams.

I feel the only way to stop Campbell is to slow the game down. Ball control. But Campbell has shown they don't need much time to score and score a lot. But Brookfield has if any team this year the capability's to slow this team down if they have the right game plan. But can they slow them down enough to keep the lead through 4qt. Man I can wait to for Friday. Good luck to both teams and play fair and injury free.

Here's another point: Campbell is not just a big play team. In the Liberty game, their initial touchdown drive was 16 plays. Hence, they can also drive the ball down the field.

I think the bigger key for the Campbell defense will be to stop Quinlan the Qb he is the one who makes the offense flow. Like how they run out of the spread and run the read. Only trouble i can see with the campbell defense is if and thats if Brookfield is getting a couple first down running the read play of just simple stretch dive etc is if they fake the read and hit a wideopen reciever downfield..... Idc what defense that team is running if the run is working they are going to do whatever they can to stop it and it opens up oppurtunities for big plays.... Also with that being said that can be a huge play for the red devils if the warriors are just packing it in to stop hughes, this is prolly a great game brewing and alot of teams/media are looking past it and are clueless to what this game can do for both teams win/loss...... If Campbell losses they will come to realize they are beatable and will be alot better of a team if they get beat it will get the kids minds right, same goes for Brookfield.

I agree with Ohio. This Game is being over looked. This game is probably the biggest game in the valley. Two Unbeaten teams that have had no competition till now. Both teams have the fire power to score a lot. Both teams have a great defense so far. And not to mention this is the first good Brookfield team since 1994! and this game weather people like it or not can decide who makes playoffs this year! Thats a lot of things and you mix that together is one hell of a game of the week. I'm not saying there is not other teams out there that are not in the same situation. But the little schools get looked over all the time. The big schools rule. I would love to attend the Campbell game and Ursuline game this week. The Ursuline game is going to be a battle.

I don't know if it's been mentioned on this thread , I apologize for asking if it was, but scanning through the thread I didn't see any reference to the record between the 2 teams series games history. I see it as a big game in region 13 points wise, so I was just curious.

It's a big game for both. But Campbell has dropped down to D-5 region 17. Brookfield is D-4 region 13. Regardless, there are plenty of computer points on the line.
