Pro soccer coming to Orlando?

Orlando City looking to join the MLS in 2015. The Lions play in the Citrus Bowl, which seats 70,000. They averaged 5,500 in this USLPro season.

If anyone is interested, here's the 2012 breakdown of MLS player salaries.

It's amazing to see people making just over $33,000 to play in the MLS.

Big crew game tomorrow.

Bigger game for my team against Hiram.

Even bigger day for me because I take the LSAT.

A little off topic but is there a good website to buy soccer stuff? My husband is a huge Man U fan and I want to get him some stuff because he's on deployment.

Not off topic at all, you just want to treat him well! Good gal!

I prefer soccer.com, if it's something easy to find/want and also for easy shipping. I enjoy looking around on the onionbag.com, never bought anything there but they have AWESOME stuff. My favorite is prodirectsoccer.com -- the problem is the best stuff comes from their UK site, so the shipping is a bit extra, but they have the best and most unique selection. I can help find something if you need it, what are you looking at getting him?

I have jerseys and shorts and even a few T-Shirts. What do I wear on a weekly basis? My Barcelona Hoodie. So comfortable. Just a though, but I love lounging in a hoodie on the weekends or weeknights. Maybe get one of those from his favorite team.

I have this one. Showing a picture, because it isnt the teams colors (per se). So dont feel the need to have to get the apparel in the teams colors.

I'll see what I can dig up. I'll have some fun with it.

And just for good measure, Orlando had their stadium proposal today. Here's a little blog about what they did.

Here's another tidbit from the Orlando Business Journal.
How much economic impact could a soccer-specific stadium in Orlando generate on an annual basis? In the range of $40 million per year, said a study commissioned by Orlando City Soccer.

Qualifiers on ESPN all day tomorrow. Probably mainly on WatchESPN or ESPN3.

USMNT plays Antigua at 7pm. Not televised on anything but beIN Sports...or live feed online for me.

Eddie Johnson with the brace as the US wins 2-1. Late late goal (90') gets the USMNT the win.

A win over Guatemala and we win the group! If Guatemala beats Jamaica tonight the US are through regardless of the result on Tuesday.

Glad we got the win.

Do you know what the worst of the three scenarios (Guatemala win, Jamaica win, or draw) is for us? I don't want to sound pessimistic (I feel pretty good about home games), just pure curiosity here.

I believe draw.

Then Guatemala beats us and Jamaica wins and we finish 3rd automatically (11-11-10 points).

If Jamaica wins even if Guatemala beats us we would each have 10 points and I believe they would need to win by minimum 2 goals for GD reasons, assuming that would be the #1 tiebreaker.

A tie would mean Guatemala and Jamaica are each 2 points back (US 10pts, GUA, JAM 8pts). Which would mean the US would need a win or tie to advance, and a loss could send them home.

If Guatemala beats Jamaica tonight and then the US loses to Guatamala, Jamaica wins over Antigua, then first tiebreaker is goal differential between US and Jamaica (which would be 0) then total goals scored between US and Jamaica (2 each), then away goals (US leads 1-0).
