Honestly I don't follow closely enough to know the answer however they are not getting the result they are paying for, go back to what you before if you want the same results. I love international soccer country v country I don't follow other soccer but the US is such a major disappointment year after year.

I think they end up winning tonight though, so it will hopefully be moot.

Correct. He is rehabbing a leg. He just saw time in the LA reserve match a night or two ago.Pick6;1268206 wrote:Why isnt Donovan starting? Injured?

I'm tired of that scapegoat. The USMNT is actually playing soccer for the first time in a long time. Klinsmann is putting together a lot of different players to see who fits best. A loss tonight wouldn't have ruined any World Cup birth. Someone has to clean up the mess that Bradley had.

Well, it was certainly a much needed win last night, that's for sure. Destiny is back in our hands. I'm encouraged by some of the newer faces out there - Zusi, Cameron, Williams in particular I thought performed very well at their positions. Good to see that the future has some additional promise. Can't wait until Bradley joins the team again as he can really make the system click. The game against Guatemala next month is absolutely ginormous.

Man, great win in the sense it was needed. But hate having to sweat out a game versus Jamaica at home...players missing (Bradley, Landon, etc) or not.
But, back atop the table.

Any of you download the FIFA 13 demo yet? I think the improvements are pretty good.

Man...I sure was disappointed that City (and Chelski) drew this past Saturday...
United getting back on their winning ways, sure like Buttner.
How about Real Madrid? Shocking things happening there. Something will happen there by the end of the season. Something's gotta give. Like I said earlier, this whole saga with Ronaldo will be interesting.

I actually think they are LUCKY to play City first in the CL Group stage this week. If they played the others, it could easily have been a loss with how they are going, and still have City on the docket. As it stands, City will be tough whenever they play, but now Real can regroup and play better later.OSH;1273270 wrote:Man...I sure was disappointed that City (and Chelski) drew this past Saturday...

Either way, thats a tough group and wide open if Real plays poor the first few games of group stage.

A clear example for goal-line technology in the Everton/Newcastle game. That goal for Everton was CLEARLY over the line, yet the play continued on.
Add that in with the missed call on the Fellaini offside (he was on by a good two feet), and this second half is very upsetting.
