Gomes with another RBI chance, this one more difficult needing a hit,but for two RBI, while last time he could get one RBI without a hit!

Will be a tough choice if there is a runner on first with 2 outs and Homer comes up this inning. Only 78 pitches so far.

Not really, Homer is quite capable of not working the count and making a harmless out in 2 pitches or less.

Takes ball on outer half, goes with it, and gets a triple. Someone tell Jay Bruce that balls on the outer half can be hit with power, not hooked weakly to the 2nd baseman.

Lead-off triple much better than a lead-off double. Offense has to blow it much worse to not score on the triple!

Dusty should be fired on the spot for putting gomes 5th... 2 most important at bats today have fallen on the 5th spot in the order...where our WORST hitter on the team is batting....ugh
