I don't see the sense. Never said he couldn't shoot. Thought he had things to work on and I think he might struggle against taller defenders who are just as athletic

I love how he always says only a "few" posters dislike him, when this thread pretty much says so otherwise.

As a rebuttal before you try and spew your typical BS, it'd be like me saying I wonder if you'll ever develop a good use of soap (hinting that you smell like shit) but did so without saying you smell like shit. You're comment stated above shows that you think he can't shoot. You were proven wrong, admit it and move on.

^Exactly. Jordo was proven wrong so he went into spin cycle. Smh. He's doing an even worse job of trying to get out of this.

Dude, you claimed Williams didn't have a jumpshot. HE DOES. There is no opinion on that, it's backed up by science LOL.
Seriously, stats don't lie. I just don't get what you're trying to argue.
It'd be like me saying Blake Griffin isn't a good dunker IMO, because he doesn't do a 360 every time.

College success doesn't guarantee pro success. I watched Williams play a few times this year and came away questioning parts of his game

That's not the point though. You tried to claim his shooting was a weakness, and you based it off his college game. Stats were thrown in your face, and it was a complete fail on your part. Now as hoops said, you are in spin cycle. It is comical to see what your next bs post will be.

I'm sure Turdo would only say something like that if he were on the Cavs.hoops23;806955 wrote:

I liken it to TP in college football. Sure his stats look good, but when you actually watch him there are some holes/questions in his game that he will need to answer at the next levelCollege success doesn't guarantee pro success. You are desperately trying to make this Cavs issue and it just isn't happening. I haven't been hammering on them at all

Do we take Valanciunas at #4 even though he may not come over for a year or two due to his contract with Lietuvos Rytas?
I think I will be happy with any combination of...
Irving/Williams
Irving/Kanter
Irving/Vesely
Williams/Knight
Williams/Walker

valanciunas not coming over for a year isn't the worst that could happen. let him bulk up over in europe and meanwhile the cavs can be well on their way to another much needed high draft pick in 2012

I see what jordo is saying. He is saying Williams took a lot of stand still jump shots as opposed to hitting a jumper on the run/ with a taller defender on him. Either way Irving is the best pick. Williams I think will struggle a little bit adjusting to the game but I can see him as 18-10 type guy down the road
