I'm sure most OSU fans already knew this, but here is a little blurb about it.

I really hope stupid ass fans weren't making threats toward him and his family. I think Herbie tried to be overly objective when it came to OSU, but that's no reason to run him out of town.

I like Herbie, always have. And its a shame about the small minority of fans. But come on, grow some thick skin pal. When your in his position, it comes with the territory. And with the money he makes..not sure I feel for him too much. Now if its worse where his family is being harrassed...ok.

I'm sorry but if fans are berating you day after day for doing your job correctly, possibly even threatening you, you would move in a heartbeat if you had the means.

I can't believe that Herbstriet actually felt threatened. If 9-3 Earle and John Cooper can survive in this atmosphere, Herbie could to, if he really wanted to. If he wants to move , that's fine. Own the decision, don't blame it on somebody else.

I do think he goes out of his way on occasion trying to be neutral, but I also think people are morons for giving him a hard time about it. Herbie can live wherever he wants.

+1 I don't care for some things Herbie says, but even with guys in the media I really can't stand, I can't imagine harassing or interfering with someone's personal or family life. That's beyond idiotic.

My guess is that he can handle it, but I assume that his wife and kids are being harassed. If that is the case then not only does he have every right to leave, but he should leave. His family shouldn't have to deal with that.

Met him on a golf course. Great guy. He also used to live down the street from some of my friends in Powell about 7-8 years ago.

Now I don't think he deserved to get harrassed if he did, but if he can't take the heat on his twitter without being a dick he can GTFO.
