Yeah Northwestern definitely has to win the tournament to get in.

Northwestern's always an interesting matchup, but I think OSU will take care of business after the Wildcats played them so close in Evanston.

10 minutes to go and Iowa holds a 3-point lead over MSU. If the Hawkeyes hold on, does that bump MSU out of the tournament? One would think so.

I already think MSU doesn't deserve to go. 2 losses to Iowa on the year is about the worst black eye I could think of.

Yeah. They should have taken a timeout. The players looked lost, call a timeout and set something up

Barring some craziness in the other conferences, Michigan State should have just about secured a bid regardless of what they do tomorrow. Obviously they are a lock with a win, but even a loss to a top 10 team and they should still be in good enough shape.

I agree. Sure they played a tough schedule, but they didnt win any of those tough ooc games. They had a nice win at home against the Badgers but other than that they dont have any impressive wins. I dont think their body of work is good enough

Beating Iowa doesn't do anything for their stock except not cripple them. The same way that losing tomorrow wouldn't do anything to their stock.

Basically MSU has to win tomorrow or put it's fate in the hands of other teams. They'll be right in that last 4 in/out if they don't win tomorrow.

Purdue/Sparty is either going to be down to the wire or a complete and utter blowout.

Big games tomorrow. Michigan and Michigan State are locks with wins, or things get tight with losses, though I think they are both still in with losses. Penn State is on the right side of the bubble with a win over Wisconsin. They are most likely out with a loss.

Yes. I loved that BTN made it their "connection" and showed it 5 times lol.

I hate when people say that, and I know what you mean. But you arent allow ANY steps, unless you count your pivot as a step.

You get a step to complete the dribble/catch/whatever and that is the plant foot, then you can jump off your pivot. It creates the allusion of 2 steps, but if broken down, a player actually doesnt give up the dribble until it is resting in hands. That is typically what someone calls the "first step" and the second is the jump of the established pivot. The same principle is used when catching a pass on the run. Your pivot isnt established until you have the chance for you to come down with both feet. At that point, you establish the pivot, and again it creates the allusion of the "first step"

Depending on how much stock you put in Lunardi, I'd say that MSU likely does need to win today to get in. They're currently the last team in. I'd be wondering about Michigan if they lose, too. While not one of the last four in, they are a #12, which means they have to be a bit precarious. Then again, his whole projection kinda confuses me. I thought the last four at-large teams were the ones in the play-in games. He has two 12s in a play-in game and two 11s in a play-in game, but two of the three 12s that aren't in play-in games are at-larges (Michigan and Clemson).

Illinois and Michigan going down to the wire, Illini have definitely blown it after being up by a decent margin most of the game.

And just like that Michigan has the lead, up 56-53 with 1:27 left.

Finally a solid B10 win, pretty excited not to have to sweat on Sunday or a play in game next week.

BC and Georgia losing helps MSU. I think they're in now regardless of their result vs Purdue.

I dunno, I think BC and Clemson may just swap places. They were last 4 in/first 4 out type of teams before today started. Georgia is probably in anyway, and Bama was right on the bubble too, so I think UGA losing may actually hurt them.

They need Va Tech and USC to lose today.

Dayton/St Joes will have 1 game to shrink the bubble as well. MSU better win or keep it real close.
