Has anyone REALLY cared for SOCOM after the 2nd one? Cuz, I ain't heard shit about it since, except for right here. It's all about COD, and Bad Company. Which reminds me, look up the new Bad Company trailer, it's totally badass.

Each time I heard about SOCOM games I think of that one commercial where guys are getting slaughtered playing the game and they then show the culprits.....a groupe of Navy SEALs playing the game!

Always reminds me of a few years ago I was in Va Beach area visiting my brother. We want to one of his buddies place that was having a little party. They were all SEAls and were playing this game online.

I have no idea if they were good gamers or not but it always rminds me of that commercial!

Graphics look good, I forgot to choose release day delivery so my Amazon order won't be here tomorrow...could care less about the single player its all about the online for me.

Not a fan of being able to put cross hairs on target while behind a barrier. Should have to put them on once you pop

I've been debating it.. Sick of Black ops and Crysis 2 is great fun, but it's arcadey. I want a tactical MP game.

Single player is pretty good, IMO. The online is fun, they have some patching to do already..... I haven't had much time to play, my 15 month old cuts out some of my gaming...

I would say "yes" but some incoming patches to fix parties and reticule sights.

I'm enjoying it and need to find a group of guys who communicate well and play together. I enjoy the tactical and not the running and gunning. Finding a good group to play with is key is Socom. IMO, money well spent for the time I do get to play.... I've played more story and it's tactical, use of your AI teams and stealth.

It's still unacceptable. Just stings less when it's free.

This is coming from a dude who thinks PSN is a pretty good service (though I still think it isn't quite as good an experience as XBL though that's debateable I guess).

Either way both XBL and PSN still look like shit in comparison to Steam. Steam = GOAT online service.

PSN has been getting hacked for about a month now, but this is the worst one yet. Lot of rumors floating around about what actually happened. Paying for service would make no difference on this issue.
