Depends on the type of call. Calling to bitch about something you did - definitely not good.
Lady D'Friskies quickly realized that positive reinforcement works amazingly well. The ""I'm naked, horny, and waiting for you" call usually rearranges my priorities rather quickly - even after 30 years.
