Drinking a year old Speedway Stout. The booziness has subsided and I'm definitely getting more coffee from it. It's not Breakfast Stout, or even Ballast Point Victory at Sea, but its up there.

I prefer Speedway over Breakfast Stout even 'fresh'...just a personal opinion.
Love having different palates with different likes as compared to liking the fizzy yellow stuff.

Isn't there a separate topic for Black Crown. Go talk about it there.

kiddin' in a way, but Black Crown shouldn't be in this thread as there is a thread for it. Next we will hear about Bud Platinum from you.

The Gonzo is amazing - i love it. Java Head isn't bad i have some in my fridge right now. It's Raging Bitch not Raving. I don't drink IPAs but Flying Dog is brewed 5 miles from my house and their beer is awesome.Devils Advocate;1376887 wrote:On tap at the brew pub tonite

Not a fan of Raging Bitch, not a fan of Belgian IPAs as a whole though.

Any of you Cincy snobs need to try the Embree's Northern Dark Baltic Porter. It's a collaboration beer from the Cincy brewers for Cincy Beer Week, brewed at Rivertown. Reminds me a lot of a dark Belgian along the lines of the Stone 06-06-06. Clove, licorice, banana. Very nice.
What's neat also was last year there were only 4 breweries for their collaboration. This year there are 11 listed on the bottle. Craft beer is getting big in the Nati.

I applaud Rogue for their creativity. Some stuff works, some don't but it's for sure interesting.

Line up from last night. Far left is home brew tripel, which turned out really well. BA BORIS stole the show for me though. Wow that beer is fucking fantastic.

Southern Tier's Imperial Gemini - unusual because no distinct aftertaste but overall pretty good.

Lagunitas Sucks definitely does not suck.
Honestly I'm gonna go ahead and say its a top 5 IPA for me.
In no particular order:
White Rajah
Sculpin
Racer X
Sucks
Dreadnaught
