Anyone think a middle of the road cigar will ef up your pallette?

Half drunk so I gonna risk it.

F4F can't infract you. Bitters are essential ingredients.

Epic is epic! I've already called off work tomorrow. Gonna be an epic night.

3 frogs was awesome had a neat Lille citrusy finish. Would have drank it all night if I Did not know about the Imperial.

Founders was ok, iM used to drinking dbls so it seemed a Bit watery

Taking home a couple Rouge dbl porters for the beer stash.

Fat Head's Head Hunter IPA.

Got lots of medals won and shit on the label so I figured I'd give it a shot.

Not bad (definitely hoppy) but honestly I can't differentiate between good IPA's....only the bad ones stick out

I forget if it was mentioned in this thread or not, but did you guys hear Fat Head is scouting locations for a brewpub in Columbus?

Very good news.

Beer tasting was a success, Pumking fell off a bit from what I remembered. Then again it was bought off the shelf back in dec, and no idea how it was stored in the store. Smelled great, but was a bit thin and the spices were subdued. Smoking wood smelled like smoked pig on wood. Taste was veruy interesting, never had a beer like that before.

The Eclipse 50/50 was AWESOME. After the first few sips, my mouth felt like I had drank a shot of whiskey. The barrel really came through, but I was surprised that I wasn't getting Chocolate or coffee, which is typical of Imperial Stouts. This beer really showed off the BA.

I read a FB post a while back where Stone rec'd a few hundred brandy barrels from Europe last month. This could be Awsome or Meh. Bur I doubt horrible. I have never drank anything from them that I did not appreciate on some level. Biased I guess.

It is a truly different beer. The smoke on it was different than most smoked beers. That in itself made it an interesting drink.

Going DA tonight with the house to myself. Started with a Dark Island (Irish Scotch Ale) and working on McCarthy's Bane (imperial Red) right now.

Last night had a Hoptologist DIPA and Knee Deep IPA both were lovely.

I bought a bomber of the Hoptologist last night, but drank the White Rajah instead. I'll be having it tonight though. I've had the Hoptologist before and it's a damn good beer.

Sure is. Whole Foods here has a 20% all beer sale today. Picked up another FSW 16 on the way into work.

Thinking of picking up a 6 of storm king, brown sugga, and troegs porter or java head. Might throw a southern tier bomber in there too since my fridge is bone dry.

I certainly enjoyed what Knee Deep has to offer. San Diego area breweries are at the top of my beer list these days.

Negs for allowing this to happen.
