So tonight I mixed Revolution's Eugene porter with a White Rajah and the result is fantastic. Almost like a Black IPA now.....getting the flavors of both, although the White Rajah seems to be the more potent of the two.

Most-purchased lists are never going to. People buy the call brands when they want to get drunk, but not look like an alcoholic.Crimson and Gray Hair;1367722 wrote:/\ That list certainly won't qualify anyone as a "Liquor Snob"!

Actually, that last statement is true. Sales numbers don't lie.Curly J;1367771 wrote:Drink Bud Light best beer in America. Sales don't lie.

Bud Light was successfully marketed, and it fulfills the desires that many have when they partake of alcohol: It's cheap, can get you drunk, doesn't have much of a taste, and doesn't make you feel full.
That's what most people want. Doesn't mean it is of any quality. Just means it fits the majority of the beer-buying demographic.

Your preaching to the Choir my Brother. Can't disagree with any of that comment. I'll add that I can't actually think of a better beer to throw up...and it is cheap at that. Bonus!!!

Opened the Bourbon County Brand Coffee Stout last night at beer tasting....A-Maz-ing. More drinkable than reg BCBS, aroma was crazy. So drinkable and at 14%, its a good thing I didn't have another to open.

Mine doesn't. She's a hop head. Actually she's has it before and liked it...even though it's a chick beer. Glad you like it though. Different taste for different people. Got to start somewhere.

I have done a little taste testing of different brews so far, not really liking much else. Tried a Killian's tonight, definitely disappointed. I think I'm going to a free beer taste testing tomorrow (Friday) night. That may help a little more.Curly J;1368691 wrote:Mine doesn't. She's a hop head. Just bustin your balls a bit, like Curly said everybody starts somewhere. If you like fruit beers there are some really awesome ones out there but you got to be willing to drop some cash. Post how the tasting goes and if there are any beers you liked I'm sure a few of us can give you some other good suggestions.OSH;1368820 wrote:This is the response I expected...
