KBS. I haven't got lucky enough to get the CBS. Hell it was hard to get the regular Breakfast Stout back in 2005.

Rumor is that Bell's Black Note 4packs are bound for Michigan and Chicago only.

Just picked up a 4 pack of Founders Imperial Stout and couldn't hold off so I'm already drinking one. Starting the night early; great beer.

Damn, 1 bottle down and I'm already feeling nice. After not eating all day, 10.5% abv beer kicks in quick.

Drinking a double bastard after a shitty week. Not going to cry about my hours, but I'm also working tomorrow. Bright side, on way home stopped by local shop and found FSW XV (over a yr old and discontinued). Local trader went 6 to midnight and next week Ill have some of my very own Backwoods bastard, and debating between BCBS, Founders RIS, or maybe a BCBCS.

Had a couple Dogfish 60 min IPA's tonight at the Lizard. Nothing special, but delicious nonetheless.

Love the 60, prob in minority, but like them better than the 90.

Same here. I like both, but the 60 is definitely my favorite of the 2.Commander of Awesome;1364202 wrote:Love the 60, prob in minority, but like them better than the 90.

I'm more of a 90 guy. Loved the 120 the only time I tried it years ago.
Tonight was mainly Red's Rye PA and Fat Head's Head Hunter. I was in Hops mode.

That DA is a pro. I've put down 2 Speedway Stout bottles in one night, but I'm not sure if I would try 4 Double Bastards.Commander of Awesome;1364221 wrote:How in the hell did DA get through 4 Double Bastards? Reps to him when I can.

That's why I said I'd never try it and my Liver is 'trained'. By trained I mean it has 15-20 more years of experience of binge drinking...it will burn long after the rest of my body come cremation time for me...But props to DA for Liver 'Conditioning'. I only wish I knew about craft beer to put in it then instead of the cases of fizzy beer I did almost 30 years ago.

3 is still impressive. I put one down last night and was feeling it. Also had close to half of a Deviant Dales. I starting drinking it, at first it was decent, then second sip to 4th just got progressively worse. Looked at bottom of can. Canned in fucking may. Let that be a lesson to me, ALWAYS look for bottle dates on IPAs.

I got a bottle of FSW XVI for Christmas....you gonna drink the XV or sit on it?Commander of Awesome;1364190 wrote:Drinking a double bastard after a shitty week. Also I don't think I mentioned on here that I had Victory at Sea the other night and it was the best coffee porter/stout I've ever had. If you like coffee beers check it out. I guess what they do differently is actually pour fresh brewed coffee into the mix rather than using coffee beans or ground coffee. I can honestly tell you the result is a much more deliberate coffee flavor than most (it straight up smells like a cup of coffee) but the hint of vanilla added too is just a kicker. I almost wanted to add cream and sugar to it!

Got a bottle of XVI as well! Excellent beer (had it on tap when it first came out. Extremely hot and boozy though, needed some time IMO). Saying both for a special occassion considering they're $25 each.
Victory at Sea is a fucking amazing beer. With you Mooney, Love it. Saw you had it on Untappd. If you're able another beer that is on par with it is Campfire Stout from Highwater brewing. Not sure if its available in Ohio though.

I've heard another good coffee porter is Eugene Porter from Revolution Brewing. Going to have to try it since Revolution is in Ohio now.

Pretty cool video from Sam Adams, they're resurrecting one of the original American craft beers from the 70's with its original creator.

Where do you guys find most of these beers? There's one store here in North Canton that even has a fraction of these listed.
