Not sure if they're doing CBS this year (or ever again for that matter). When they were first released you had to know a guy and been the pig at a mod party basically.

Drinking my 1yo GI Juliet and it's fantastic. Fuck InBEV but damn if GI doesn't make some great beers. Still a few on the shelf last time I was at the store so I might have to grab another the next time I'm there.

Lots of good beers coming up in the next few weeks.
Bells is releasing Hopslam AND Black Note (their barrel-aged imperial stout)
Great Lakes is releasing Barrel Aged Blackout Stout only at the brewery (I'll be heading up there and probably buying a case, although its expensive as shit at $30/4pack. If anyone wants to trade for it let me know....Curly J you get a free bottle if you want one since you gave me a bottle of KBS)
Palette Wrecker is coming back, loved that stuff.
I don't think I've posted on here since Christmas but Santa brought me lots of west coast stuff that's not available in Ohio. Mostly Firestone Walker, nothing really rare like BCBS or PtE.

$30 a 4 pack is steep! Yikes.
Second the PW, can't wait to slug that down.

Also, for any folks from Cincinnati.....the Party Source is starting a brewery called 8 Ball Brewing. They just snagged the brewmaster from Rock Bottom downtown.

Read that this morning. The new brew master at Rock Bottom is coming from a restaurant from Cleveland that closed. Same company owned both restaurants. Sounds like Mitch left Rock Bottom on good terms. He should do great at this new brewery.
I believe I read it on Hoperatives and Queen City Drinks.

I've got 2 Sixpoint Righteous ales and 4 Sixpoint Sweet Actions sittin' on the table next to me. They'll be gone by the weekend.

Depends on your preference. I thought it was solid, had on tap. Wouldn't be chomping at the bit to have it again though. If you like spicy winter beers you'd love it.killer_ewok;1362321 wrote:How good is the Epic 12.12.12?

That's actually cheaper than I've heard of it going for in the past.Mooney44Cards;1362070 wrote:Great Lakes is releasing Barrel Aged Blackout Stout only at the brewery (I'll be heading up there and probably buying a case, although its expensive as shit at $30/4pack. I liked it. Clove was very present in it, but I like clove. I might have a bomber or two of it over the next few weeks/months.killer_ewok;1362321 wrote:How good is the Epic 12.12.12?

Yeah, I just dropped $85 for a 6 pack four weeks ago, I think I'll manage here with that price.O-Trap;1362352 wrote:That's actually cheaper than I've heard of it going for in the past.

I've heard as high as $97 for a sixer. I think it had already been out awhile, though, and it was even more scarce than normal.Sonofanump;1362355 wrote:Yeah, I just dropped $85 for a 6 pack four weeks ago, I think I'll manage here with that price.

Sorry, I did not mean the Blackout Bourbon, I meant $85 for a sixer of a different beer.O-Trap;1362357 wrote:I've heard as high as $97 for a sixer. I think it had already been out awhile, though, and it was even more scarce than normal.
