Went to Stone yesterday. The garden was awesome, as was the beer. Though I will say slightly disappoint in they didn't have crazy experiment beers on tap that I've had at stone tap take overs before. Still, having a double bastard on tap is awesome.

At first glance, I thought this was a picture of a hot pot melting some little kid's snowman just to be mean.

Trying GLBC's Nosferatu - not bad, not too much different from Commodore Perry.

Also got a sixer of the Brew Kettle's Winter Warmer (they're out of Strongsville). It's ok, not quite as good as Christmas Ale or 12 Dogs

Drinking 5 Golden Rings now; decent but nothing special. I had bottles of BORIS the Crusher, Barrel aged YETI, and Jolly Pumpkin Maracaibo Especial in my hand but put them back but think any one of those would have been better. The good thing about 5 Golden Rings is it's 11.5% abv.

I did put 1 bottle of Rochefort 10 in the fridge so I can still finish the night strong (and drunk).

My uncle came in to town for the holidays and brought some Affligem and some Trader Joe's 2011 Vintage Ale. Will try this weekend.

And Founders Dirty Bastard is one of my favorite beers. Would love to have their Backwoods Bastard soon.

Never had the Trader Joe's one, but you will not regret the Affligem, and you will DEFINITELY not regret the Backwoods Bastard. It might be up there among the short list of my favorite beers.

Thanks. I should've clarified and said that I have had the Backwoods Bastard before. I can't wait to find it again. It's incredible.

First and foremost I must apologize for not checking in on this thread, although I wasn't missed. Haven't had any beers as of late as I've been on a Wine, Vodka, and Cognac spree the past few days/nights. Hopefully that will change this weekend...carry on.

Here I thought you were sick, dead, or at an OC Mod Party.

I'm kind of all them especially since I crashed the OC Mod party...what has been seen cannot be unseen.

Luckily before my absence, I was drinking A LOT of Zombie Dust. The store is now out of it. What a wonderful Pale Ale. I thought it was an IPA. More hopped than the SN Pale ale. Need I say Best.Pale.Ale.Ever.

I wish I was sick or dead after crashing the OC Mod Party. What has been seen cannot be unseen. (why does Justin have to live so close, but he does have a nice Garage)

Actually I was having A LOT of Zombie Dust prior to my Liquor kick. Awesome beer, but my beer place ran out of it. I was surprised it was a Pale Ale. Felt like an IPA. Way more hops than the SN Pale Ale. Dare I say Best.Pale.Ale.Ever...yep so far. (The Wife Concurs for you Untappd people)

Very pleased. Had it before. In the words of Bud Light Drinker/Sprint Cup Champion and his sponsor who I hate less than InBev, Pretty Damn Awesome! Love the Zombie Dust.

I'm actually holding one for a friend and it's killing me with it sitting there !!!

Did some NYE shopping today. Picked up a 6er of Celebration, and Alaskan Amber for guest to my NYE party. Have a couple of Lagunitas Sucks, GF Double Stout, and Bells 11 for myself. Also put in some shitty Pyramid beers for the guests to drink (hope they clear me out ha).

I feel the same about Pyramid. Never was a huge fan. Got a O3-03, 04-04, 06-06 and on up chilling in the fridge. Sadly missing the 05-05-05. Not sure if I'll get to them all tonight.

With that beer and that glass, there is a joke here about Pliny the Elder still being a better coach than Pat Shurmur.
