Size yes, I think the quality is high enough to be in the micro catagory.queencitybuckeye;1252132 wrote:One could make an argument for Boston Beer Company being in the discussion.

Had two pumpkin beers tonight, The Bruery / Elysian / Stone La Citrueille Celeste De Citracado and Shipyard Pumpkin.
The Shipyard was actually much better (IMO). The colab lacked any pumpkin taste and seemed flat to me. I mean it was ok, but I probably wouldn't buy it again. Shipyard was solid, and now I'm on to a Pyramid Apricot Ale (as Curly J would say, big gay).

I've had that Colab before and wasn't overly impressed. Don't think I've had the Shipyard.Commander of Awesome;1252757 wrote:Had two pumpkin beers tonight, The Bruery / Elysian / Stone La Citrueille Celeste De Citracado and Shipyard Pumpkin.

I joined in on the Gayness last night as I had an Oliver Bean Blueberry Cider as soon as I got home from work. Cheersssss !!!

Three of us at work get together once a week or so to try different beers. Last night, had a Palate Wrecker. Also, the girl in the group had been on vacation going from Boston to Maine to Montreal and brought back some local Maine beer that was pretty good.

Hit Buckeye Lake Brewery this afternoon. Had the IPA and got a growler to go. I hope people support the local place they have some tasty beers and offer Red, Blonde, Amber, Stout, and IPA.

I get over there 2-3 times a year for a sales call. Next time I get one, I'll schedule it late in the day, and we can meet up at the brewery for a beer.

Sounds good, I cover a similar territory. I will shoot you a pm next time I am headed that direction.

Grabbed a 6er of 12 Dogs. Was surprised to see it out. Enjoying one now with a King Havano Black Knight.

Got back from dinner where they had Pliny on tap. Was awesome, still think its a tad overrated on the east coast. There are plenty of imperial IPAs just as good. Having a Pranqster right now (Belgian Golden). Have some Old Rasputin's in the fridge if I feel inclined, though I'm trying to save those for tomorrow.

Also side note, I've had several Russian Rivers as of late. None disappoint.

Potent! Good stuff. Made me want to drink a lot more beer. So I did. Nothing in its class, but still beer.Commander of Awesome;1253266 wrote:What you think of the PW?

Picked up some Two Hearted, it's been so long since I've had it. Great ipa, good chance I will finish the sixer tonight.

Decided to finish off the night with Founders Breakfast Stout. I will say the one thing I like about Michigan is their beer.
