Why do some people do that?

I figure if you claim something then you have some solid proof that what you say is in fact passable?

Also why do people feel the need to lie on the internet? Its not like, in most cases, youll ever meet these people.

I wrecked a 1977 Porsche while going 10 MPH

my grandfather was drafted by the Detroit Tigers in 1955.....and in 1957 set the world record for most golf holes walked in 1 day (126)

my daughter at age 2 yrs could point to every single state correctly ona map of the US that had nothing but black borders for each state....no words or anything else


ALL TRUE.........but can't prove em all.

Oh, my secret method to making millions on the Internet in just a few hours revolves around peddling junk that doesn't actually exist to people gullible and stupid enough to give me personal information. A lot of times, they're so ashamed to get fooled so easily, they don't even report it out of embarrassment. F'ing idiots.

Simple, if they have then they would know having a negative opinion of cops that dishonor the badge on their chest and go against the oath they took does not make one a cop hater.

And actually, I only claimed that the select few people who were throwing the word around recklessly never experienced true hate, or else they would know that something that would be trivial in comparison does not constitute true hate.

Im sure others have, but I was referring to the ignorant ones who used the term loosely specifically.

Another example, have you ever burned your hand on a hot stove? Yes or no, you do know that a hot stove is in fact capable of sever burns.

I believe I said my last two POSTS were about good cops, one was a thread I made and the second was a post in someone elses topic.
I remember saying this and you tried to spin it by claiming I said something I didnt......like you just did again.

Short version: Ytown made a post a long time ago saying the he knows im black, when I told him for any sort of proof since 1, ive never even talked about myself in the capacity, and 2 it was irrelevant to the topic, he says "I remember it from on JJ" I said thats BS because no one knows what I posted under there. He replied "I have the memory like an elephant" so I told him to provide any sort of proof because he was full of shit.

Fast forward to yesterday, he tries to act like he was "trying to be nice" and he PMd me because "it was the courteous thing to do" then I quoted where he actually said that in a topic and not in a PM, catching him in his lie about trying to make himself look good. He hasnt posted since he was caught lying.

Oh and for the record, its not about something that you all do in your lives. I really cant believe people misunderstood the glaringly obvious point.

Its like the issue outlined above. IE someone claiming something of someone else, yet providing no evidence that the claims are true in any, then crying when the accuser is called out.
