He was franchised by Minn, he wont be available. As for Rudd, I know Matt Williamson thinks he's basically Ben Taylor, and over hyped due to stat sheet. As for Posluszny, I think he's been solid, but wouldnt call him impact lber. I'm not familiar with Tulloch.

He's another injury risk is he not? Plus wasn't he moved to LBer?

I'm not aware of a move to LB. I know it's been said they'd like to resign him with less playing time. And he is a bit of an injury risk. High risk...high reward kind of thing.

I kinda think any DB would help, but I think it's the 5th biggest need. Brown can play safety. Are they losing Elam?
I think RT is the biggest need followed by WR, LB & DL.

Delhomme Will Have To Take Pay Cut To Remain With Browns
8th June, 2011 - 1:16 pm
Chronicle-Telegram - Jake Delhomme is going to have to agree to a pay cut if he's going to remain a member of the Browns.
Cleveland general manager Tom Heckert hinted as much in a recent interview.
"Whenever the thing opens up, we'll sit down with Jake and talk to him and decide what's the best for him and for our organization," Heckert said. [READ]

And water is wet. Shitbag should be paying the Browns to stay on the team.
And CoA, that wasn't a slam on your article. It was just implying that the author was stating the obvious. If the front office DOESN'T demand him to take a pay cut, THEY should be sent packing too.

Well you could slam the writer of the article as it seemed he was stating his opinion without any source or insight, he just takes the liberty and reads into Heckert's comments. . Just stating his opinion which has a high probability of being true. That's the state of sports journalism though.

I've seen the odds of a lockout near 75%. It also states that the whole season not being played at 2% (does not say if with player or with scabs).
Looks like the season might be between 8-12 games this year. Not sure what product that would entail.

I've heard anything from 8 games to a possible full season (played) even if they have to play the beginning games at the end of the season and get rid of all byes.

A couple of those guys are ranking Colt McCoy WAY too high. Joe Thomas should be the consensus #1. I'd probably have Haden #2.

I was taken a little aback by Sobo's ranking McCoy so high, but I respect his opinion the most on the site. So I help he's right!

Good stuff....and it just goes to show you how important this draft class is. Ranking players who haven't played a down yet is quite telling of our needs.

Didn't the NFL schedule games this year where they are able to miss the first game or two due to the lockout, but be able to schedule it later in the season with (maybe?) their bye? Or something? I remember a buddy of mine talking about it, and it made a lot of sense. Just can't remember exactly what he was saying.

Yep. I probably worded it wrong in my post but that's what I was implying. They set the schedule up so they could actually make up a bunch of games by eliminating byes.

gotcha. I thought that's what you might have been getting at. It reminded me of that conversation I had with my friend about the schedule.
