Still wondering if Donnie Avery (WR-Rams) has some kind of lingering injury or something. Guy played in Shurmur's system, is a burner (4.25) and would be great in the slot. Unless he's (Avery) off the market, he's gotta be better than Robo at gaining separation.

Robo can't gain seperation. I know Avery had an injury that ended his season last year, not sure where he is in his rehab process though.

One thing that came out overnight that infuriates me is that Richmond McGee supposedly got this "herniated disc" in pregame warmups and couldn't feel his leg? So he sabotages the team and goes out and punts anyway?

Either he hid an injury, which cost the team, his agent is lying about his injury so the Browns can't cut him and he can collect a paycheck on IR or the Browns knew about this injury and this new coaching staff/regime is just as bad at lying as Savage, Butch Davis, Mangini, etc.

his salary I believe is guarenteed anyway since he was on the roster on game day. If that story has any legs to it (lol) I could see it as helping the team and gutting it out. As the team doesnt have a back up punter so not sure who would have been punting other than him. That being said, I dont buy the story shanks McGee for helping the bungals to 13 points.

I sat in the nosebleeds last Sunday, but it gave a great view of the receivers.....there isn't one that gets separation. Colt was throwing into a very tight window. On the other hand, you could see a couple of the Bengal receivers get wide open.....their QBs are just god awful.

Still not sure why we didn't try and sign Nate Clements. He outplayed Sheldon Brown thats for sure.

I too had the same view, I agree about the Browns WRs, but the Browns secondary did a good job covering the Bengals WRs imo.

They did for the most part, but if you remember a couple of their completions were wide open because the qb had a while to throw. Even when colt had plenty of time, there was never a wide open receiver....at least that I can remember

Most if not all the bengals long completions were to their tight end. That's normally not on the secondary, but if you are trying to say the Bengals wrs looked better than the Browns, than I am def agreeing.

Mantooth...the new car was a SMOOTH drive in this morning. Was almost scared shitless to drive it. Afraid a deer was gonna jump out in front of me. Has a few blind spots and I'm hoping the window tinting is legal.

McCoy is going to have to rely on his TE's & RB's for the bulk of his passes. He may occasionally hit a WR on a slant or buy some time scrambling where someone breaks open but other than that...not sure.

and he should have this past Sunday.

When I play Madden, it has Dawson punt over McGee because McGee has such a low rating.

McGee was a freakin stockbroker that they pulled off the street. I think he was actually referred to the Browns by Dawson.

Nice and yeah, I would be worried about deer, rodents and pot holes with a car like that...I get paranoid.

Yeah, they both come from UT.

I saw somewhere where a possible reason they went IR instead of outright release because he fucking sucks may have had to do with him being close to Dawson and appeasing him some... Who knows.

Just read on PD's site that they're going to continue to use a rotation at RT.

Thats a terrible list IMO. How are the Dolphins below the Browns when they are putting 400 yards passing up against one of the best teams in the league.

The Patriots have probably the best offense in the league, their defense is average.

So it looks like Shurmur is already starting to look like previous shady coaches (Botch Davis, Mangini..). Apparently he KNEW of McGee's back issue prior to kickoff but did nothing about it.

Ok, the guy shanks a 20-some yard punt on his first attempt. After hearing "McGee has a lower back issue" from one of the coaches PRIOR to kickoff and then the miserable shank of the first punt, don't ya think the head coach should at least go up to the guy and say "hey McGee, are you OK?" He doesn't and then McGee proceeds to shank another one. Does Shurmur go up to McGee then? NO.

Patty Boy isn't getting off to a good start here.
